Have any of the small theatres out there redone their concession stands? Do you know of a good contractor or designer in the South?

We need to redo ours. Going for practical, not fancy. Looking for someone familiar with the needs of a movie theatre and a creative eye. The theatre has a round lobby and was not originally designed for a concession stand (1941). We've been using the last of many badly intergrated ones for 25 years (it is from the mid-70's) and now need to upgrade.

Advice and recommendations welcome

Give Stu Stein at Stein Industries a call. He did some great re-designs for us. They are based in NY but he did theaters for us throughout the southeast.

Ours at the Eisenhower wasn't the best either. It was an island, so detached from any support rooms or hallways. It was also cramped making it hard to work, and hard to make things accessible to employees. Also it made it harder to queue properly should we get really busy. Don't get me wrong, aesthetically I like the island concept, just not the most practical I think. Ours did need a facelift.
