Hi all.
Haven't been on here for a while, as I left my previous job and felt unable to comment on most topics.
I have been offered a job at vue as a general staff member, to start as soon as possible. I'm pretty positive about the place so far, but it would mean a pay cut for me so the move can't be taken lightly. Before making a final decision at the end of the week I'd like to know what the company is like from anyone who currently works or has worked for them. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Caleb.
edit: Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

Totally dependant on what site you end up in, GM's and managers have a lot of control as to how the place gets run which is nice if they are good but it can all change pretty easily. It's also not too hard to progress through the ranks to team-leader, manager and onwards. By general staff do you mean a guest assistant (selling tickets, popcorn, cleaning etc?) most Vue's seemingly unlike other uk chains also hire projectionist from the floor up at most sites. Whether you see this as a good step or bad it's a way to get your foot in the door.

It is a 'guest assistant' position. Thanks for the info.
