Does anyone have a source for custom imprint cups and popcorn tubs? We're looking at logo'd service items as an option in our image planning. Clearly, price will determine yes|no. [Wink]

Thanks,

David

They're available also through your suppliers such as Sysco, Vistar, Coke and Pepsi. May get better rates that way.

Your present cup supplier can likely order them for you.

Indeed. The biggest problem with most of them is they require you to move a certain quantity in order for them to warehouse them, otherwise you'll have to order egregious amounts and store them yourself. Big pain.

A quick look at 3 sites for custom imprinted cups shows a minimum order of 200 cases containing 1,000 cups each. Multiply that by the number of sizes and types of cups and you'd probably have at least 1,200 to 2000 boxes to store. How long will it take you to go through 200,000 cups in each size?

Back when I owned a restaurant Sysco was willing to warehouse for me the specialized cups. But the minimum order was 20 cases per size - paid up front. I only went through 6 or 8 cases of each size per year, so it was never worth the cost.
Plus the cost of the cup itself was about double that of stock designs.
Unless you got through a LOT of cups, it is just "a high price to pay for being stylish."
