Although we are missing a few of the usual suspect Film-Techers this year, we have Mike Olpin, Jim Cassedy, Ben Kehe, Sam Chavez, Clyde McKinney, Large Ian Price and a few others messing up the works. Wish us broken legs!

Agreed, but ski season doesn't start until Nov 25 when the salutation "good luck" really does apply.

Speaking of broken legs, the Nugget booth discriminates against handicapped projectionists. I'll make sure a whole mess of lawyers contacts you.

So sorry to hear of your handicap Joe.

If you remember, the Nugget booth discriminates against taller ones too, although only their top few inches if they're more than 6'.

Joe, things are going berry, berry well. Ian's up at the Chuck Jones Theatre screening premieres and fun stuff in a booth that's big enough to handle him.

Just saw Serge Bromberg burn a strip of nitrate film (Ohoo's and Ahaa's from the audience) on the stage of the Sheridan Opera House as a demo before his show of nitrate clips (converted to safety film of course). Quite a showman. Here's the program note from the show that included a sound clip from Django Reinhardt, dancing from Josephine Baker and lots of T&A:
