Considering this is the same director as 10,000 BC and The Day After Tomorrow, I'm expecting this to be an excruciating 2½ hours. Count me out.
Sony's exhibitor relations site has 90 min. I sent an email to my rep just to confirm the correct time. But after several recent errors, I don't trust Sony's site much. You would think the studio could at least get the information correct on their own site.

IME says 158 minutes too.

As long as it is is well made and entertaining, the running time of a film should not matter. Almost all of the classic films that were presented as Road Shows such as THE SOUND OF MUSIC, BEN HUR, TEN COMMANDMENTS, GIANT, DR. ZHIVAGO, CLEOPATRA and so many other were all over three hours long. Even, TITANIC, the highest grossing film in history was over three hours long.

2012 no doubt does not deserve to be in that list. Yes, even if it has Cleopatra in it.
A long running time doesn't make an epic film. It can give you one hellava numb bum though.

No, that's just the year you will finish watching it.

We have a big planet. It takes a while to destroy it apparently.

Poor John Cusack. See what happens when Nicolas Cage turns off the ringer on his phone?
