I do not recall NOT THE MESSIAH ever playing at any theatres in Hawaii but I have seen the video promotion trailer on Sony's Blu-Ray discs many times. I think the movie was released yesterday on home video. From what I can tell from the promo clip I saw, NOT THE MESSIAH is a parody on Handel's MESSIAH by Monty Pyhton and it looks like a fun thing to watch.

It was screened in UK in February or March.
We're scheduled to show it at the end of July-early August.

Yeah, we'd like to show it but have been waiting for our satellite dish to arrive for the past three months.

We've been offered it for end of July/early August too but it comes out on DVD in August so unless it's a huge show, I'd rather not be an advertisement for the DVD release.

The site I used to work at showed it, but it arrived on a hard drive (no live component).

It's not available anywhere here (to my knowledge) on hard drive, the one place that offerd it is the same place we're expecting our satellite dish installation from. Only it's taking forever...

In the UK it is handled by Arts Alliance Media and arrived on one of their normal hard drives.

Some of their disks leave the UK (or at least have continental power leads).

Having seen this I have to say I was very disappointed. It looked and sounded great on blu-ray but Eric Idle has milked his Python roots one time too many. I thought "Spamalot" was over-rated but at least it held my interest. The story of "Life of Brian" told in opera music? Give me a break! The highlight of the show was the encore...The Lumberjack Song. The song about sheep wasn't too bad either. Otherwise...watch LOB again for a much more satisfying evening's entertainment.

I've just seen Spamalot this evening (It's currently on a UK tour) It was enjoyable but a lot of it is a repeat of the film, which is good thing and a bad thing. Impressive how they managed to acomplish on stage the scene where King Arthur battles a knight (with the Knight losing all his limbs).
