So I'll be heading to Orlando this summer for a conference, and I'd love to possibly catch a movie on some downtime. I'll be down there the week of July 17, so the major release will be Harry Potter and I'd love to catch it in 2D if I can.
Is the AMC 24 near Disney any good? Any neat old theatres?

The AMC 24 at Disney is a nice place. They have just converted it to digital and are in the midst (or maybe it's done now) of converting some auditoriums to having food service. What's the proper term for such auditoriums? "Dine-in theatre?"
Anyway I haven't been there since the digital conversion but when we have been there, it's been fine. Audiences are good and screens are big. Is it "special"? No, just a nice plex.

The Enzian is a pretty rad theatre down there for art movies (also a cafe although I can't recommend the food)
