Hello all - we've been paying Webedia (formerly West World Media) to utilize their CS Express tool $80/mo for our small 3 screen theater for years.
Just curious if there are any cheaper alternatives?
We used to email showtimes for free, but, that was unreliable - Is that still even a viable option?

csXpress should be free to CBG and IMC members.

I've never paid any of those outfits for posting my "what's playing". Three or four of them have actually signed up for my weekly email so they get the same email that my customers get.
Their listings are usually accurate, somewhat to my surprise.
Occasionally they are wrong, but if anyone complains I just tell them that the only website that I control is my own, so if they want the most accurate information they should always check my website rather than relying on what some random website tells them.

Or setup for them to automatically pull showtimes from your POS.
Here’s the instructions from RTS.

James Gardiner (CineTech Geek) has been looking at how to get show times into Google. What he's found so far is in a video. The forum won't let me link to the video, so do a Google search on "getting exhibitor session show times into google search"

The trouble is , there are local agencies trying to make a business from aggregating show times as well. If they screw it (and they screw often), our schedule is belly-up even in our major local papers.
All in all, it's ridiculous. 2018, and 'KI' is not able to fetch a title, a date, and a time...
