What's everyone's prediction on the Grinch movie? The teaser trailer is pretty cool. Is it going to beat 102 Dalmatians?

I actually haven't seen anything on it yet, but honestly can't stand Jim Cary. Anyway, it better be a hit because we've come up with a major promotion for the mall we own in Springfield, MA where we are doing a one-week "sneak" of the national release in conjunction with National Amusements (Showcase Cinemas), Universal, NBC, and the local newspaper--all for charity, of course. We're having a $25 "black tie" screening with Gene Shalit reporting for NBC, lots of Dr. Seuss memorabilia, tie-in give-a-ways, etc. We're negotiating now with Universal now hoping for some film props, Universal City characters in costume, etc. I'll let you know how it goes.

It will be some of Carrey's best work. Perhaps even better than M.O.T. Moon. It will scare children and bring back pangs of nostalgia in adults. Business will be above average, but 102 Dalmations will do better at the box office. Get plenty of kiddie combos ready!

Grinch is going to be huge, there's no question about that. The final trailer is supposed to be out soon, but word is that set design is amazing. The film must be done because it has been submitted and rated(PG).
102 Dalmations is another story-the first was a horrible film, with only Glenn Close to redeem it. I'll also never understand how that film got a G Rating. A guy got crotched on an electric fence, for God's sake. I hope this one will be better, but I have my doubts. I hate Disney.

The end of this year better set some box office records. Or else we may all be looking for work. If anyone from Hollywood is reading, make better movies! Not more expensive ones!
By the way, when did I become an expert film handler? I may be good, but I wouldn't go so far as to call myself an expert.

To the second part... I should imagine that depends on 'how'.
