I saw a repeat ep. from a few years ago of the Simpsons, in one of the quick shots of the theatre, on the marquee it says "Movie With Air Conditioning". It gave me a laugh, considering all the bad movies out there, this may be a way to get those extra customers in

Actually, a lot of theatres used to advertise having air-conditioning back when many buildings weren't air-conditioned. During summer months back in the 1950s, many theatre ads would have something on the ad mentioning air conditioning or how cool their theatre would be.At the Pitman Theatre in Gadsden, AL, in neon, on the front of the building, was "Air Conditioned. Gadsden's Finest Theatre". (I have a picture of it in my hand at the moment.)
Of course, everybody knows that all modern businesses are air-conditioned, so advertising air-conditioning is rather humorous. I think it would be great for a theatre, on their marquee, to put a lot of common features, and make them sound like fancy features, like
Humidity and temperature reducing device, for your comfort.
Light beam manipulation devices for superior focus.
Diaphram and voice coil speaker systems, for the ultimate auditory experience.
Modern solar cell technology for the best sound reproduction.
Digital restroom fixtures that flush or emit hydrogen dioxide automatically.

Hydrogen dioxide? Now, _that_ I must see! My sink at home only emits dihydrogen oxide...

How about hydrogen hydroxide? (HOH)

One should be very careful when dealing with Dihydrogen Monoxide. Here is an informative web site about this important, misunderstood chemical:

Yes, one old house I worked in still had the big fans, where they used to bring up ice blocks to blow air over.------------------
