Seeing the world-wide participation here on Film-Tech, I'd like to share a beautiful sight --- a breathtaking composite photograph of the entire earth taken from space at night. See the links to the NASA website on my accidental double post "Earth Mates with Passion for Movies".

In a pamphlet sent to all award winners, the AMPAS provided guidelines regarding the proper use of its trademarks and copyrights. As a recipient of an Academy Technical Achievement Award, I try to abide by those guidelines:

John, I am using that picture as wallpaper. A neat picture. I wonder what that white dot is off the East Coast about 1000 miles or so.....

I think it's more likely some radioactive bits that have fallen off MIR.

If you look close to the white dot off the East Coast and then look down off the coast of Florida you will see two more white dots.

Connect all the dots and you see the Bermuda Triangle.

Could it be?

No - it is directly east of Delaware. Too far north to be part of the Burmuda Triangle, if my geography serves me right.
