UA boxer shorts (You remember those, Joe?),
UA jacket,
with my Telluride Film Festival hat,
Mountainfilm sweatshirt,
While carrying my UA umbrella,
I'm thinking, "What's Missing?"
Well, to complete the outfit, I'm guessing I need Film-Tech pants. 
If it wasn't for the free cloths I have received over the years from my employers, I would be naked! 
Seriously, Where's the t-shirts?
P.S. I have traded t-shirts with three other theatres up till now. It's not a bad hobby.

The T-shirts, hats and boxers may come along in the not too distant future, but it will have to wait a couple of months due to my schedule. Not to worry though, Joe has already volunteered to inspect and test every pair of boxers by wearing them for 3 days straight before they ship out.

This we could actualy pull off. All we need to do is find a micro brewery around here that has a beer like Newcastle and then we have them bottle us a batch with Film-Tech lables on them. We leave it up to Joe or somebody to do up the lables. Then we will have a beer for next year's ShoWest.

A Film-Tech Policy trailer would be cool.I don't think it would be too expensive, you could just get Joe to create a Flash Movie. Export it at 2K or 4K.
Running it out to film (to create the printing negative) would be the most expensive part, prices I've seen range from $400/min for a CRT film recorder to approx $800/min for an Arri-laser. So if the trailer was only 30 sec's and a few were sold the individual prints shouldn't cost too much. The actual prints would only be a few tens of $'s.

I think this one is a good idea: A certificate made by Brad and Joe. Something that demonstrate that we know "Film done right".
Also we can make a ID card that read "Film tech engineering" or "I've learned in Film Tech" with Brad's sign (I would like to show it to everyone in the little theatres around mine). I just want a paper that say that we know enough...

I gave them out at ShoWest a couple of years ago to anyone with 500 or more posts. Other than that, they haven't been distributed.
Daryl, I was speaking of the recycling program for the cores used on the media pads. While lots of people do use it, there are tons who don't take advantage of it.

Some of you are too young to remember...but what I am about to describe was in fact a very popular t-shirt from the 1970's...and it should be resurected just for F-T...
As an added bonus, one can always add a "phrase" to the shirt regarding "film-handlers" and "cinema-chains" that suck!

Okay, so it's been almost another year already. Where is the Filme-Teche-Shoppe? Where are the shirts and hats and boxers and thneeds? I've never seen such a blatant disregard for potential profits since I set foot in a theater without slides! Get on the ball, people!!
