Hey! 
I live in Rhode Island and work in Massachusetts and I am unable to find my Favorite soda-- MELLO YELLO. 
It is a Coca-Cola product but It is available only in certain areas! Anyone know of where I can scoop up some? Maybe someone has a Coke connection where I could get some shipped to me? Let me know! Thanks!

Now there is an oldie but a goody soft drink. I think I have seen it in several stores here in Austin, Tx Paul. I will look next time I am at the store and pick you up some if they have it. I used to have the same problem with Mr Pibb. In Corpus Christi the Coke company bought the Dr Pepper company and then stopped supplying the area with Mr. Pibb, substituting Dr Pepper instead.

I personnaly love CHERRY COKE. You may think this is weird cuz you can get it wherever you go, but it's not here in Winnipeg! We only have Wild Cherry Pepsi, and it's good, but I love Cherry Coke!

The only theatre Century has with Mello Yellow is in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. So I imagine it is a regional thing... or is it a Central Time Zone sorta thing?I personally love Cherry ANYTHING, Coke, Pepsi, I'd take Cherry 7up again if they made it.
The one thing they NEEEEEED in a BIB for my theatre and my theatre only, is CREAM SODA. Or if they found a way to give me Chocolate Milk on demand, I'd be happy.
Have y'all heard about the new CARBONATED MILK? It's called Emoo. i kid you not... CARBONATED Milk in a can... supposed to make kids want milk more, and it apparently has a shelf life of 30 days or something.

Carbonated milk doesn't sound that bad. In Japan we have Calpis, a fermented milk drink. Very popular, though overseas it's called Calpico since apparently the original name sounds a bit unappetizing. Paul

The funny thing about cherry coke is that you can fill an entire class with regular coke, then give it the tiniest little spritz you can of cherry coke, and the whole thing will taste like cherry coke.Mmmm ... the delicious cherry taste of benzaldehyde!

I'm sorry I can't recall the websites, but a couple years ago I was looking around for pop in the old 8oz. glass capped bottles for a cooler I was going to buy. Some companies (Dr. Pepper for sure) would ship cases anywhere in the world. I recall that there was one bottler of Coke that did this, I'm assuming the demand was from diners and nostalgia-type places. I'm sure someone would ship you the stuff, and there must be syrup somewhere. I've never had a pop rep say no.........

I am now able to order MELLO YELLO from a store in the Middletown/Newport, RI area. I am now looking for DIET MELLO YELLO . All I want to get is either a six-pack or maybe a 12-pack. Even one can for my MELLO YELLO collection would be very helpful. I hear it is available in some locations in the U.S.
Someone who recently was in Florida (No names mentioned) was supposed to buy me some but he was too busy shopping at the discount mall in Florida. Any help would be appreciated!

There were two guys that used to work for me...a father and son team.....they both drank Jolt Cola all the time and were alwyas operating at hyper-speed. Usually had to pull them down off the ceiling to get them to go on service calls...and they'd always be back quickly but always got the job done. They never got in any wrecks either but the kid used to burn up engines in his car on a regular basis....I assume that drinking Jolt had something to do with that.

I use to drink Mello-yello all the time but I don't think that they sell it around here also because I don't recall seeing it for a time now. However my favroite drink that was discontinued was Cherry-cola Slice. It was the best tasting cherry cola out there and they advertised that every can contained 10% real juice (though admittaly it was never said that all 10% was cherry juice).

Can someone please fill me in on just what this Mello Yello stuff is? What kind of flavouring etc? IMO cream soda is due a revival here too - it used to be pretty popular in the 70s but you hardly ever see it now.

MELLO YELLO was introduced by the Coca-Cola Company in 1979. It is described as lightly carbonated, citrus-flavored soft drink. Some people would even compare it to "Mountain Dew", although I think that MELLO YELLO is MUCH better then MD. It is available only in limited areas, even though it is a COKE product. The MELLO YELLO I get in the Middletown/Newport, RI area is actually shipped in from Pennsylvania many people who live on the Navy base in Newport have requested it. It has only been recently that I have been able to order it from a supermarket in Middletown, RI. I have actually traveled as far away as Clearmont, NH & Fitchburg, Massachusetts to be able to buy it. A friend of mine who frequently goes to Pennsylvania had been buying it for me and bringing it back to me in RI. I usually wait until it is on sale and then order 25 to 30 12'packs.
Last year they also introduced CHERRY MELLO YELLO & MELON MELLO YELLO. I have tried both of them and prefer the regular MELLO YELLO then the Cherry or Melon Yellos. I have only recently found out that there is a DIET MELLO YELLO. From what I have been told it is only available in Sioux City, and Evansville, IN. I am hoping someone could ship a few 12'packs to me so I can try it, Or maybe someone has a COKE connection that would allow me to be able to order some??
The Ingrediants of MELLO YELLO are: Carb. water,High Fructose Corn Syrup and/or Sucrose. Concentrated Orange Juice, Citric Acid Natural Flavors,Sodium Benzoate, Erythorbic Acid, and EDTA, Potasium Citrate, Caffeine, Yellow 5, Carob Bean Gum. ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)

If you are interested, a local bottler in my town makes a citrus drink called SKI, that is similiar to Mountain Dew and Mello Yello, but better. To my understanding, it's only available in Southern Ohio, parts of Tennessee, and parts of Illinois. If you are interested, I could send you some. - Matt

We once had a "taste test"... Mountain Dew in one cup and MELLO YELLO in another cup..And I was able to pick out the MELLO YELLO from the cup. Of course, this is when things were fun and I was a lowly Assistant Manager with nothing else to do while closing up one night..But I was able to pick out MELLO YELLO! I miss those days..

I always noticed when I worked in a theatre that had an urban audience that we sold alot of Fruit Punch, Orange, and Sprite. Mike, do you sell a lot of Nachos?
Also, MELLO YELLO, is also a slow seller for us, and a lot of people will ask for Mountain Dew. When we tell them we don't have any, they will switch to Sprite instead of MELLO. Of course, what thery really want is SKI.
