I think that you should add a poll on the main page for everyone to participate in. One should be "What equipment do you like better?"
Wite "Christie", "Simplex" and so on!

There have been quite a few polls taken on Film-Tech regarding projectors, platters, sound processors, etc. Obviously, things change (and hopefully improve) with experience, and everyone has their personal favorite equipment, but in general, the "creme de la creme" rise to the top of the lists.
Look for previous threads that say: "What is your favorite...?"

Do you think that's it's possible for someone to delete their own post? Like, if they made a mistake, and didn't want the reply posted, they could just go to edit and click delete post, and it would only delete what they submitted...
This would help where people might get into something and want to get out, why couldn't they just delete it?

You'll go to an edit box where you can change what you posted. There's a check box on that page that'll let you delete the post entirely.
1) It'll only work if YOU are the one who made the original post.
2) You have to click the edit icon above the post you want to edit/delete.
It's as easy as that!
Please leave things alone. Invariably there will just be someone else come along in a few months who will see this thread and stop before deciding to start a bunch of polls. Even threads that don't go the way they were intended do serve a purpose.
