To all Film-Tech members. Beware of this kid 
The 13 year old Andrew McCrea from Winnipeg, Canada has just notified me that he will be taking legal action against any Film-Tech member who sends him email.
Mr.McCrea has been known to use such email addresses as:

Since he is no longer a part of this forum and obviously has no way to get this important threat out to all of the members of Film-Tech, I feel it is my duty to warn the community of his presently known email addresses so as to beware of this horrible threat that will undoubtedly be affecting all of our lives and our profession. 
I hope everyone can still manage to sleep at night.

No!!!! I knew we shouldn't have messed with this kid I just knew it! This time we have bitten off more than we can chew and now Andrew McCrea will use his mighty powers to make us all pay! It's a shame that we'll probably all eventually go to jail. Film-Tech was fun while it lasted. Who would have thought that this little kid would bring us to our knees?

I find this interesting Brad since he sent me an e-mail this past week asking for my Excel spreadsheets I had made up for My Dream 10 screen. I sent him the copies per his request and wished him luck with his endeavor. He sent back an e mail thanking me for sending him the info... Wonder what he is really up too.... Gald I did not discard his e mail and can use it to my advantage if he sues me.

very odd he emailed me today in a very civil manner with a very honest technical question considering I was the first to bear the brunt of his wrath.
I hope this does not start another hate/email war. If it does then there will probably be some serious consequences

I don't know what his problem is. The email was so poorly worded that the sentences were not clear. The only thing that was clear was his threat which I posted above. If he was 20 years older, I'd say he's losing his marbles "upstairs", but due to his age, I think it's just pure immaturity. Regardless, he seemed to want to get his threat out to the members of Film-Tech, so there you have it. I personally couldn't much care less (as was signified by the icon.)

I must have missed the kid's heated exchanges since I joined the forum only a couple months ago. Like most people, I have a distaste for trolls, even if it comes from a snotty, little 13 year old. I'll copy those e-mail addresses into my killfile. Thanks for the notice.

Although I have had little, if any, contact from Andrew. I would like it known publicly that I wish to have nothing to do with him either.I have said before, I have a couple of younger relatives that are smart and enthusiastic like Andrew but their energy often gets the best of them and they become difficult to deal with.
Someday I hope that he'll be a productive, successful adult but for now I don't think I want to receive any e-mail from him.

I also find this odd and disapointing since up until this threat, i really had no problem with him and actually tried to stand up for him at one point.
i guess its just an age and maturity thing.
hopefully hell grow up one day and possibly earn his way back on the forum as a respectable member.
this shouldnt be for another few years of course, since hes got a few years till he even turns 16.

Of course the "kid" will have to come down here to hire an attourney in law if he wants to sue us. I doubt that he has the $$ to do that and I also doubt that anyone would take him seriously anyway.

Yeah - I heard of someone who tried to sue another person in Oregon for "Passing Gas In His Direction" at the conclusion of an arguement. (this actually made the news media)The Judge sided with the First Amendment and dismissed the case, and called it "Freedom of Self-Expression."

Are You Sure? According to a Child Fizzyachiatrist with whom I'm acquainted, spanking damages their little psyches, builds Resentments which lead to Retaliations and Refusing to Eat Their Spinach. In today's news other Doctors are saying children should not be used for the purpose of operating Lawn Mowing Equipment until certain Criteria have been met.But then, there are those who would say the Children should be put under the lawnmowers.

There's been a Fields-A-Rama on the TCM channel this evening and I've been running some of my tapes thru again to obtain the better recording off-satellite. Anecdote: Shortly before his death, Fields was observed reading the Bible, and remarked defensively: "Looking For A Loophole!"

Is it because he feels safe sitting there in the comfort of home?
His parents probably have no idea what he is doing, and if they did, they'd probably yank his connection.
If I started getting threats from this little boy, I'd start sending him all my spam that started while I was using the old History-In-A-Can site in 1999. I erase an average of 30 a day.
