I just thought of an idea of building a 35 millimeter Lego
projector without or with analogue optical sound. I am trying
to figue out what to do with the itens involved-the trap & gate,
intermittent movement,shutter,lenses, & upper & lower feed sprockets.
I am asking all of you in this forum to give me ideas & help.

With all the hype about DLP, shouldn't the LEGO company be working on something like "Digital" legos?

The way I see it, the hardest part would be finding a combination of Legos that would add up to 1-3/8 inches wide. The only thing I could think of is if you trimmed some of the blocks.

Does this projector need to actually work or would it be more for demonstration purposes? If it doesn't have to work, who said it has the be exactly to scale? Just make it a multiple of the real size based on the size of the blocks you are using.
If you want it to actually work, why don't you just make the frame out of legos and put real projector parts in where you need them?
