Film-Techer Ethan Harper got hitched today to his wife Lindsey and they will be spending the next 5 days at Disneyland in Florida on their honeymoon. Congratulations Ethan.
Wanna see Ethan dance a hula hoop with the Hooters girls? Cast your vote here and I'll post a video download if Ethan agrees to it.

It's just harmless, yet sophomoric fun, right? I don't see any harm in that.Bring on the silliness!

Bring on the dance.

Congratulations Ethan.BTW, Disneyland is hot this time of year. Spend a lot of time in air-conditioned buildings...
Posted by Mike Blakesley (Member # 26) on 08-26-2001, 01:59 PM:
The most amazing thing is that they're at Disneyland in Florida. Last time I checked, Disneyland was in California!
I won't even say anything about Ethan getting "hitched to his wife."
Posted by Brad Miller (Member # 2) on 08-26-2001, 02:33 PM:
Geez, let's be super picky here. Disneyland, Disneyworld, does it really matter? Is there any significant difference? They're both playgrounds with giant rats.
Posted by Steve Scott (Member # 630) on 08-26-2001, 02:45 PM:
Congrats Ethan!
By the way, there is an advantage to going to Disneyland in California: You get to go to "California Adventure!!!"
A whole area devoted to the state you're already in!!

Congradulations Ethan!!! Uhhhh, my weddings only in 28 days and counting....Bring on the movie!!! I think it would be funny

Brad are you going to get those hooter girls for the showeast filmtech drink in Orlando in the fall?
Posted by Rick Long (Member # 213) on 08-26-2001, 08:13 PM:
Congrats Ethan. Remember, a wife may cost a lot but she lasts an awfully long time.

Heat does not faze Ethan. In fact, he is immune to UV radiation.
And Texas summers aren't hot enough for him! Yes, he's actually told me this.
Again, congratulations Ethan. I wish you and your new wife the best of luck.
Brad, you should have a countdown on the opening page for Rachel's wedding.

One day a long time

Here's to day's gone by,

Oh great!A live webcast of me falling on my face in front of all the film techers...better yet, falling on my face from film guard. I think we found the ultimate use for the stuff, never mind better film quality, it can now be used in comedy skits.
I bet you guys would get quite the chuckle out of that one.
Posted by Darryl Spicer (Member # 711) on 08-27-2001, 07:49 PM:
Rachel,

We will be policeing the church area making sure no unwanted technicolor personel make it inside. Also we will be making searches to be sure no one is trying to slip in broken reels to be slung around instead of bird seed which is used instead of rice now. Apparenly the birds were choking on it...oh well...

"Aren't vacations wonderful? "Rachel, don't drink the water or eat uncooked food in Mexico or you might not think so.

3 DAYS!!!
Posted by Barry Floyd (Member # 385) on 09-19-2001, 12:36 PM:
Ok Rachel,
We all want details...
Big wedding, small wedding, basement of the church reception.... or a REAL reception. Band or DJ? Since I'm a wedding DJ by trade, of course I prefer the DJ.You must post some pictures when you get back from the Mouse House.
Posted by Joe Redifer (Member # 3) on 09-19-2001, 05:54 PM:
You will, of course, submit videos from the honeymoon to be converted to Quicktime and downloaded by all, correct? J/K
Posted by Brad Miller (Member # 2) on 09-20-2001, 02:03 AM:
2 DAYS!!!
Posted by Sean McKinnon (Member # 612) on 09-20-2001, 02:50 AM:
Im taking Anthony out on his bachelor party today (evil snicker...) I was supposed to have all day off but you know how it is now I have to go in for a few hours. Rachel if Anthony doesnt make it to the wedding after this extravaganza dont blame me...
Posted by Sean McKinnon (Member # 612) on 09-21-2001, 01:42 AM:
hhhmmmm... ONE DAY!!!!!!!! REHERSALS TONIGHT!!!!!(Anthony made it home alive from his party, though just barely)
Posted by Bruce McGee (Member # 131) on 09-21-2001, 10:46 AM:
Is the church being decorated with ribbons of film?
Posted by Rachel Carter (Member # 693) on 09-21-2001, 12:43 PM:
No ribbons of film
We were going to incorperate our jobs into our wedding by doing some movie theme love songs for our favors but we couldn't find enough songs that we liked so we are just making a CD of love songs. Its a big wedding, 175 people. We are having the wedding at a catholic chapel in Gloucester and the reception at a veterans club in Beverly Mass with a very nice hall on the upper floor.
DJ!!! I wouldn't get a band, they can't play everything you want....I like my music and I like it how it is! Actually, Anthony's Uncle is a DJ and he is doing it for us as his present to us. Incase anyone was wondering our song is "Everything I do (I do for you) by Bryan Adams...YES a movie theme!!!
Honeymoon video...hmmmmm I think not! Well, we don't own a video camera anyway
I will send some pics to brad though when I get back.
My rehearsal is in about 4 hours and I'm on film-tech, WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?!?!?
Well, incase I don't get to post again I'll miss everyone, be back in a little over 2 weeks!! (but I know myself, if I don't post I'll probably lurk!!!)
Oh, thanks Brad for keeping up my countdown, I was sooooooo busy yesterday.
1 DAY!!!
Posted by Rachel Carter (Member # 693) on 09-21-2001, 12:46 PM:
