Honestly, I like these new images. However, the one that they found for me is not the real me. I would never slug down a shot of FG from the bottle. It's nothing but digital trick photography!

Just so everyone knows, the server is selecting your temporary pictures based upon your number of posts. Come on everyone, send in your pic. Hundreds and possibly thousands of people see you all the time at the theater, so send in your pic so we can make the discussions more personal. You never know what Joe could end up turning up.

And yes, this is our humorous way to hint on sending in pics.

For everybody: It really helps make the forums more personal and personable when people have pics. I'm more likely to remember who said what if they have a real picture posted. I'm also more likely to remember WHAT they said as well. It's that whole visual association thing. You've already provided real names and therefore show that you're not afraid of people knowing who you are. People see you everyday, what's wrong with us here at Film-Tech. We love you.

Actually, I hesitated because I've received internet threats for speaking my mind. (Not from here) I had to take a picture that made me look suitably intimidating. I'm really 4' 2" tall, just a shade taller than Joe.

Jerry, a picture won't help someone carry out a threat. Soon we will be displaying mailing addresses, phone numbers, pager numbers and car license plate numbers (as well as make and model) by each post as well.

Seriously though, I don't think you could get many threats from people who read this site. Mostly threats seem to come from sites where teenagers frequent.

Yeah I figured John Walsh had a horrible combover. Otherwise he would have sent in his picture by now!

In order to get my picture to change so often we had to upload a little voodoo to the server. I really need to create some more pictures.

Here's another question: I alone have a dozen pictures (all of them are 100% me, even though I am imitating others). Why can't everyone else have at least one? Do you need a hug? We can send Ian out to hug you so you will be confident enough to send in a pic.

Rick send your son down here with a dozen butter tarts and have him teach me to use the scanner. My own sons know how but the refuse to teach me. I always look for ways to get butter tarts.

Yes, and now we all know that William is actually Ian's secret clone.

By the way, I met William in Austin this last weekend at his theater to do some service work, and I kid you not...I didn't have to bring one single tool into the booth! William actually keeps an entire tool kit, complete with various meters and even a pink noise generator with him. William's assistance and knowledge made it a very nice service call. The theater is lucky to have him.

(For those massochists out there, just ask him to view his "reel from hell". It's over an hour of solid torture!)

We tried update John Pytlak's picture once to the standard shot of him in a suit that used to appear in the Kodak Newsletters. It did not go over well. In fact it almost caused relations between Kodak and Film-Tech to break down completely. Here's the actual conversation that followed:

Johnny P: You updated my picture.

Film-Tech: Yeah.

Johnny P: Please change it back to my old picture. I like that one.

Film-Tech: OK.

Needless to say tensions were high that day Actually we used a picture of an Oscar©™® statuette since John had just won an Academy Award©™® (Best Supporting Actor in a Leading Role). You can't use pics of the statue unless you have permission from Jack Valenti©™® or something. Jack was unavailable for comment.

I can always change my hair color with PhotoShop... that is if I could just get my picture to stop changing for a sec! Actually I need to do more pics. Any suggestions of who? (Yes Aaron, I know).

With the latest set of "mug shots", it's hard to tell which are the "real people" and which are the "body doubles".

(Actually, having photos of real people as the "body doubles", rather than sketches or animals is confusing. Fortunately, the stand-ins do have the black border, but some may not know that.)

Wait a minute...you mean these are not photo's of the real people. I know John Walsh personally and even though the photo doesn't do him justice ..it does capture the essence of his personality.

And where in heavens name did you dig up that photo of Paul Thompson it is so grotesk it couldn't possible look like him.

Hard to recognise Bobby Henderson. The Doctors did a great job on his eyes.

Bob Maar, If you saw my real picture, it would look like a north end of a south-bound horse. On film tech, I made that happen to me - more than once.
