I love it. There's nothing sadder than getting through the chat room setup procedure to find that you are the only one there. Well done.

I agree. This chat system is far better then the old one.

That's awesome Brad! I haven't been in there yet but I'm on my way. It's great to be able to see if there are people in there, I'm sure it will start a alot more discussions! ------------------

Late last night, I checked to see what was going on Film-Tech just before bed. The new Chatroom had over a dozen people online --- darn impressive for the first time with an unplanned schedule. I hung around for about 1/2 hour, but then realized I would only be getting 5 hours of sleep before having to wake for a busy day at work.------------------

I didn't like it to start with, but I'm quickly getting used to it. I find the frequent flicker and little noise from the automatic update slightly distracting (remedied by turning off my speakers when I'm not playing music). Fortunately, I run 1280x1024 both at work and at home, so the added width is no problem for me. If I were to change one thing, it would be the blue text on black background. I have to put my eyes within 10 inches of the screen to read the words. But I don't have to, since I know what they are from using the site so long, so I guess that's not really a hindrance to me either. I really can't complain about anything.

Here you go Rachel. Just type : chipper : without the spaces on either side of the word "chipper" and viola!

Brad, What about "no cell phones and pagers" as a rule in the chat room?
