We have an old phone system made by S.H. couch that was originally installed in the 40's. We have never been able to speak through it but the buzzer still works. It is nice because we can buzz the booth when everyone is out of the auditorium. We can hear electricity running through the headpiece but can't speak through it. 3 phones: 2 in foyer, 1 in booth------------------
