Someone beat me to it! Yes, this was a great episode. The boys tried to stop George Lucas and Steven Spielberg from re-making "Raiders of the Lost Ark."FLAW: At first they suggest stealing the "negative" of Raiders from Lucas's house. But when they go to try steal it, they call it the "print" 
I think it re-runs tonight at 1 or 2am Eastern.

Another thing I noticed. When they're in Lucas's house, "Raiders" is the only film on the shelf, with 2 other unlabeled ones. Everything else was on videotape! Maybe Trey & Matt read Film-Tech!

They should do an episode on the stupidity of cable channel and network logos that stay on all the time during a show, as well as the logic of scrambling cable and satellite signals when they still show commercials. Shows like this would have done great on independent TV stations if cable didn't exist. Guess I'll see this episode when it shows up on DVD, since that's the only way I can watch it.

PS a true Steven Spielberg "remake" of Raiders would, have it "reformatted" to fit your 1.85:1 screen.

This is just a total guess, but could CSLB stand for Cal State Long Beach? I think I heard (in frickin' HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION, of all places) that Spielberg went there. Then again, there may not even be such a school. I don't know.

Just watched it. That was hilarious! Wonder what the lads are thinking now?Actually, I think there were some pretty heart-felt feelings about what they're doing to these films very well expressed by Trey and Matt.

Matt Stone and Trey Parker have pushed the envelope of TV several times since SP hit the air. It is one of the most inspired shows on the air. Who'd-a thought you would love a comedy where a poor kid from the wrong side of the tracks would die in every show? Long Live Kenny!! Ditto for a Mr. Hanky charactor, and family!!I wonder what the parent watchdog groups think of this show after they got rid of those "terrible" 1930's-1950's Warner Brothers cartoons? They seem tame compared to this.
I hope that South Park will be around for awhile. I always make time to see it.

I actually fell out of the habit of watching SP, but I think I'm about to fall back into it!...and the 'uncle' song in the movie is IMO one of the best musical numbers ever
