A clean desk is the sign of a sick mind!

When my desk is clean, I can't find a damn thing.

I have an invoice for a desk, so it must be around somewhere.

A clean desk is a place where no work is getting done.A person who has a clean desk is either spending more time cleaning his/her desk than working or else he/she isn't doing enough work to clutter up the desk.
If you think about it, there is an optimum amount of clutter that's acceptable in an office. There should be enough to "prove" that work is being done but not so much that you can't get any work done because you have to wade through all the junk.

There is a happy medium here. I hate it when my workspace gets too cluttered. It's impossible to keep it totally organized and clean. Two weeks ago, I gave my desk a serious cleaning since I needed the space to actually work. If I can't clean off enough space easily to have a book open and have a notebook or notepad beside it without them sitting on other things, it makes me miserable.------------------

We had a health book in middle school that said the messier you are the less stress you put upon yourself.

I've been on the road for 8 weeks now and I know I WON'T be able to find it when I get back in the office. Might as well just stay here in Bosie and open a new office instead! That way I can get another desk and just start all over loosing it again.........

Crap, I have five desks (one at home, one at the theatre, and three at my day job) and they are ALL cluttered. I must be working my arse off!

There's a desk under there? I guess the pile isn't as deep as I thought.
