Tall Blacks dream lives on 
4th quarter NZ 65-63 Puerto Rico
3rd quarter: NZ 48-44 Puerto Rico
2nd quarter: NZ 31-29 Puerto Rico
1st quarter: NZ 14-11 Puerto Rico
The Tall Blacks have made the final four of the World Basketball Championships in Indianapolis, defeating Puerto Rico 65-63 to make New Zealand sporting history.
The Tall Blacks led for nearly all of the match and with less than a minute to play the scores were locked up at 63-63. The New Zealanders will go on to play Yugoslavia in the semifinals after they upset the United States dream team 81-78
After a slow and nervy start by both teams, the Tall Blacks led 14-11 after the first quarter before going to halftime with a 31-29 lead. The Kiwis then having to fight off a strong challenge from the Puerto Ricans in the third quarter and fourth quarters but held their nerve.

They are actually quite short whites and browns , the name is a sporting thing in NZ , All Blacks (Rugby) ,Black Sox (Softball) , Black ferns (Netball) Black Sticks (Hockey) etc the only Team that has an opposite name is the All Whites (Soccer) as our National colours are Black but in soccer this is the colour the Refs wear ------------------

So after they win the world cup, do they get to play in the superbowl or something? Or is that after the world series?

Sorry the Title should have been The World Basketball Championships,in Indianapolis (This is not a World Cup) After making the final 4 they will get automatic entry to the Olympics all other countries have to qualify and for a country where this is a minor sport with players only earning the 10s of thousands compared to Mutli million Dollar earning of other countries and our only NBA player injured this is one Hell of a achievement , Especially as Sheep out number people
