I have been reading the data sheet for the Dolby DMA8, which says that it has an option for disembedding SDI audio. I know about the other formats it handles, PCM, Consummer Dolby Digital, and Dolby E, but what is SDI audio, and what is it embedded in?

If I am correctly informed, SDI is a digital video format. Disembedding means extracting the audio information and routing it to an audio output.
