I had way too much fun yesterday on the Heber Creeper out in the beautiful Heber Valley. For all those Steam Train Geeks out there (and I know you're there)here is a link to some photos. here

Nice pics. Too bad the 618 wasn't running. When I was in kindergarten I used to play on a locomotive displayed in a park which was a near duplicate. Illinois Railway Museum is restoring an engine which is a sister to both.

I remember the Heber Creaper! My father took me and my sister on that when i was about 5 or 6.

Isn't that the train we rode on the last time the Rocky Mountain convention was in Park City? It was lots of fun, although I was disappointed the steamer wasn't pulling our train.

Yea Mike, its the one. Donno why the steamers didn't run that day. Although if Diesel Locomotive #1011 pulled you thats really a classic locomotive too. It was built in 1940 and is a very early ex-Union Pacific Diesel. Not all Diesels are boreing!!
