But after reading it my smile turned to a frown as the site apparently disabled the back button's ability to return me to Film Tech, and added three pop-up advertisements. Sheesh!

Thats pretty funny, I'd love to at least sit in as a witness...yea, I noticed that little back buttom trick....I'd suggest anyone going to view the link right click and open a new window..

Back button worked fine for me. But to get around Film-Tech's inability to open linked sites in a new window, just right click on the link and choose "Open link in new window" (or something similar). That way you can just close the new window when you are done, and Film-Tech will remain undisturbed. I recommend doing this on ANY link you come across in a post on the forum.Edit: Yeah, what Daniel said.

It's not disabling your Back button. The long answer is: There is a script to reset the page into the parent frame, ie, the Film-Tech menu at the left disappears. Your browser's history is seeing this as a new page, so when you hit the Back button, it is backing up to the page in a child frame and the java script kicks in again sending you back forward. You should be able to double click the Back button rapidly to get back here.There is no short answer.
