If he claims insanity he'll get to take his computer with him. [Smile]

I can't believe the amount of hardware I regularly sell to inmates at the local maximum security 'insane persons prison'.

Does it really surprise anyone that this guy uses marijauna?

Just by seeing his orginal picture that was posted before they put another in its place, it does not surprise me. He looked "waisted."

Speaking of someone going to jail, there was a person who worked for Microsoft that supposedly stole some of Microsoft's software.

According to the paper, a former employee of Microsoft was arrested at Microsoft's Redmond campus in December on a federal complaint listing 15 counts of wire, mail and computer fraud. Prosecutors alleged he stole software with a retail value of $9 million from Microsoft and then sold it, using the proceeds to buy diamond rings, a Hummer, a 51-foot yacht, a Harley Davidson motorcycle and expensive cars.

OOPS!!!! I just read in the Seattle PI that he died at the age of 32. I guess he won't be going to jail after all. He had multiple organ failures.

Here's a 100% true fact that is probably a surprise to most:

I've have never, ever seen a Dell commercial on TV. I have never seen that dude before in my life. But looking at his picture, he looks like he is a stoner. I like to judge people just by getting a quick glimpse of them. [Smile]

Geez, didn't he realize that marijuana is a GATEWAY drug? [Big Grin]

Posted by Daryl C. W. O'Shea (Member # 1303) on 02-10-2003, 11:14 PM:

Maybe if he had hide the drugs in his COMPAQ the cops wouldn't have found it.

Paul Said:

"Geez, didn't he realize that marijuana is a GATEWAY drug?"

Boo, Hiss, Moo, Moo! Gosh Paul, you really milked that! I think Dell would like to tan his hide and will say that this is an udder disaster. [Big Grin]

Wow. This is hysterical!! I've always mentioned the fact that that kid probably tokes every time that commercial came on. I mean, who else could be that smiley over a DELL computer? [Wink]

Makes you wonder though, with all of this terrorism going on, why are we wasting tax dollars arresting dorks like this? [Roll Eyes]

This bust will probably even help him in his "acting career". He may get a few tiny roles in TV productions because now he has gained some notoriety. Before, he was just the Dell f -beep - face.

We had a similar thing in Australia some years back, whereby "Pizza Hut" used a character called Dougie as an advertising symbol for their pizza lines. "Dougie" was a delivery driver and quite popular until arrested by the constabulary for serious offences, naturally this was well covered by the press, subsequently he disappeared off our tv screens.

I agree with Michael. Maybe he'll become an MTV host or something.

I don't understand the big deal here. I know that pot is illegal but who is surprised that Curtis sparks up now and then? I'm not at all surprised to learn this. It doesn't make me hate him all-of-a-sudden. In fact, it doesn't change my attitude towards him in the slightest bit.

And for those who are wondering - No, I'm not a stoner. I lived in Los Angeles for almost a decade and that has a way of mellowing your attitude towards pot.

Customers Buy Dell Products
Dell Uses Money To Pay Dell Kid
Dell Kid Buys Drugs
Druglords Give Money to Terrorist Countries

THE RESULT:

IF YOU USE A DELL COMPUTER, YOU ARE SUPPORTING TERRORISM

[Big Grin]

Go and toss that piece of [bs] and buy on of theese .

Living in Maine long enough also will mellow out one's attitude towards pot - "Those Maine-stoners... They're everywhere!"
Seems like the three most popular form of recreation for the vast majority of Maine's population are smoking, [beer] & [sex] !

Manny, I guess if you live in Los Angeles, you don`t specifically have to inhale burnt weed - the smog is enough.

James Lileks points to a Boys Life story about Benjamin Curtis that folks should read and consider before making fun of him for his pot bust.

If it looks like a duck... He did have a certain non-threatening look about him, even though the spots were incredibly annoying. His actions on 9/11 were commendable, however, with this charge, he completely disregarded his Scout training and knowingly broke the law. He will have to answer for it.

Who really cares? I'm sure there are people on this very board who were, at one time, arrested for the possession of marijuana. While I've never touched the stuff, I don't think it is a big deal. In my opinion, Benjamin Curtis could have done a lot worse.

I'd say law enforcement thinks it's a pretty big deal because it's illegal. [Wink]

She's a student?! Whatever college admitted her can't have very high entry qualifications (not of the academic sort, anyway [Wink] )...
