I am definitely the most annoying and controversial poster on film-tech. What makes me so annoying is that I am so brilliant, smart, and witty that nobody can seriously hope to top me rhetorically, even in several languages which are not my own.
You can`t drink me under the table as I am of German and Austrian descendence - that makes it even worse. I know that makes me a hate object. Anyway, I have to go to bed now as I am heading for El Pueblo De Nuestra Senora La Reyna De Los Angeles de Porciuncula (for the less enlightened: LA) in a few hours.
We´ll see if Bob finally musters the guts to take me on as he has always evaded my comments here on film-tech. Well OK, he is an old man, he can be forgiven.
I wonder what Phil looks like now. I guess I will find out soon.
Oh yes, I am also curious to find out how tall Greg is. My psycholinguistic analysis of his posts suggest he is under 1m 70cm. I hope to find out at ShoWest.

Since my Name is "Maar" and I am of German decendence My Great Grandfather left Germany in 1856 and moved to New York City, where he married Kathryn Steller also a German who married Henry Maar from Kirtorf and had twelve children that would wipe clean your Austrian connection.
Now on the other side my mother's who was born in Canada as was her father, she in Aurora and he in Kettelby their decendents came from Wales and Ireland. They were the founders of the Sharon Temple, near Lake Simco. So I think I can handle your weak challenge.
Now since you are working in the Sony Cinema in Berlin and since you can blame me for most of the design of your screens and equipment that you are using...maybe I should have specified carbon arc and Motiograph Oh what a tangled web we weave.

I also have a mixed family. On the German side, it is mostly German as far back as we know, on the Austrian side there are also Italian and Hungarian ancestors.

1/2 of my angel food b-day cake (doesn't look like it's gonna last all day)

I didn't mean he looked like Greg, although there is a similar attitude on his face on the second picture you posted. But Louis de Funès (one of my favorite actors -- too bad he died 20 years ago) often played a very specific type of character in his films, and imagining Greg acting the same way when speaking against the French was just too funny

I am finally back in Berlin (the post above I made on an internet box at London Heathrow). It made me a little nervous to go through customs with Phil`s head in a Kinoton bag (which Richard Fowler gave me at ShoWest, though I think he intended it for me to carry catalogues rather than severed body parts). But I told the customs officers it was Californian Cabbage which was also not so far from the truth.
Anyway, I wasn`t really aware that he would be able to respawn. I suspected it though, that`s why I wanted to dissolve the remains and wash them away. But the sink was blocked. Not surprising for the quality of American plumbing.
I suppose he decided to respawn in Brad Pitt`s likeness since I had the head and we had spotted Brad on a parking lot in Hollywood shortly before. BTW that was my only celebrity sighting apart from Bob Maar.
Ah, and Greg - I am sorry to disappoint you, but the French cigarette I gave you at the trade show was heavily radioactive. That means that Mueller is finally going to be really atomic, in a way. Sorry.

I already came into contact with the LAPD twice: First they gave me a parking ticket for 40 dollars when I had left my car in a supermarket parking lot while visiting Phil and then I also drove right into the middle of a street blockade they had put up while raiding a nearby night club.
Driving in the US can be confusing at best: While in San Diego, I wanted to go to Point Loma, the view point above the harbour. I followed the signs but must have missed one and ended up driving directly into the submarine base.

$35.00 and a towing charge of $180.00 and we will welcome you to the city by taking you to Daniel's Restaurant for a $55.00 Hamburger.
So, just think for a mere $420.00 Feel free to park and eat.
Maybe Phil will pay your bill. He told me he wants to adopt you.

I'm sure you will be more careful next time you follow the advice of some one who says they know where to park in Hollywood.
(And with Mike's past prison record, the warrent will be quicky acted upon)

Yes. There will also be a running commentary by Phil and me. Maybe also an interactive workshop where you can learn to stir the pot, insult people, and be really funny. Of course, you can`t learn to be as funny as Phil or me, but we will probably give a few tips.
