I gave this a pseudo-generic title because it seems to be happening more and more. It allows for posting of other titles without creating new topics.

Basically, here is a snippet of the article.
Paramount Pictures on Thursday delayed the April debut of the film "Against the Ropes" given uncertainty over the U.S.-led war against Iraq as Hollywood's studios braced for any impact on their businesses.
"Against the Ropes," based on the true story of a woman boxing manager and starring Meg Ryan, was to have been released on April 25 but has been postponed indefinitely, a Paramount spokeswoman said.
She said the studio was at the point when it had to start buying advertising time on television and given the war coverage and uncertainty over when TV shows might or might not air, the studio decided to push back the film's release.
"The issue is the advertising gets preempted, and you end up losing your message," said spokeswoman Nancy Kirkpatrick.

Lame or not, if nobody's watching your promotions, you lose.
