Depends on how much "real" work I have going on. Could vary from a couple times a day, to, well, a LOT.

Call me sick, call me demented, call me antything you like but when you get hooked on this site, not even Film Techc Anonymous can be of much help!

In all seriousness, I check the site when I first get up in the morning and at various times during the day. Because I use my computer a lot working on my photographs with Photoshop, I would visit when I take short breaks to rest my eyes. I also visit the site one last time after watching a movie before going to bed at about 12:00 AM.

Depends on the schedule here at my day job, but I check the three main forums (FHF, GL and FY) at least twice a day, and the others semi occasionally.

I haven't looked at the Equipment or Help Wanted forums in months, and I rarely look at the feature-info forum or the joke forum (sorry, Bob). Not that I don't like jokes...I just don't have THAT much time to read!

In a good way, of course.

I have Film-Tech attacks about 3-4 times a day. Sometimes more often when there is a subject that I am really interested in.

I sure wish someone would see the employment posts. I'm still looking and there are no prospects, yet!!

I check the site a few times a day depending on the schedule of the screening room and if a client is not using the room.
That's Monday thru Friday only, Saturday and Sunday are my days off the sites.

The rest of the time is spent over at Cinematours, seeing the adventures of Adam and Scott.

I check in on my free time and skim through topics on average of 1-2 times a day. I find myself being more of a lurker than a poster. If only I had access (and free time) to stop in while at work like many of the rest of you. It would be interesting to know if Brad has the data to find Film-Tech's #1 fan. The word on the street is Mr. Joe Redifer has all posts automatically forwarded to his cell phone.

I'm afraid, that Hawaiian disease is blowing this way: Earlier, it was just a couple of times per week. -Lately, i'm hooked first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening, cause there is something to learn every day.
-And the barking of the Berlin Brewery Schaeffer entertains almost on line with The American Maartini.
-Not to forget the new picturealbum, which has to be checked every damned day.

Addicted in severe degree and not willing to undergo any cure at all. -Maybe as Claude says, You may call me anything, too - but do not call my early in the morning, please !

I check the site about once a month. This is my May check right here.

What Jeff Skallan says is true. I actually hire someone to read each and every post to me aloud immediately as it is posted. I usually am able to get Brad to cover the bill for this service, though, since he is the one who reads the posts to me.

On the weekends, when I'm at work, I check several times an hour. The rest of the time it's just a few times a day.

Hi, my name is Paul and I'm a Film-Tech addict with a 8-10 hits a day habit. The FAA is planning to deny any future pilot medical certification for me because of this. Hopefully it won't show up on any pre-employment drug tests ("Mr. Mayer, we won't be able to use you as a Dolby screen inspector--your urine tests positive for FilmGuard...").

I used to visit this website almost daily but recently have checked in less frequently because I am irritated by the lack of mature professionalism exhibited by some members.
I mean, for instance, look at this Phil Hill character in his silly space costume!

I check in here whenever Rachel lets me, and she doesn't always give me permission. When she is not looking I usually check in 3 or 4 times a day - more if there is anything interesting going on.

Addiction would not be the right word for it. Every weekday morning, I follow pretty much the same routine....

Drive 30 miles to the office, turn on my computer, and fire up Film-Tech. Actually, I check the Drive-In Owner's forum first, followed by by AOL mail account, then weed thru my various spam mail on my office email account ("Viagra ads", "Penis Enlargement ads", and the "click here to see my dorm room web cam"), delete it all, then check Film-Tech (because it takes longer to read).

I'd say I average 2-3 hours a day total here on this site.

I don't ever check it on weekends.... I try my best to stay away from computers when I'm not chained to this one at work.

Usually twice a day, spending atleast an hour on the site per day.
Film-Tech is addictive!
I dont really know anybody personally on film-tech, but i think of you all as part of my family

Almost any day of the week I wander to Film-Tech at least once, sometimes twice, occasionally one day will see three or four visits.
Depends mostly on the kind of day I'm having.

I check film-tech at least twice per day on weekdays, and sometimes more often. On weekends, it's usually once per day or not at all, depending on where I am and what I'm doing.

We need to bump the old thread "You might be a film-tech junkie if..." back to the top.

Well, there may be some nude pictures of me floating around, but I trust Rachel not to show them to anyone. It was a therapy session where several of my friends were trying to cure my homophobia, so they put me into a situation that was uncomfortable to see what would pop up. What popped up was a big old groundhog named Puxatawny Phil - not the Phil you are all thinking off.... Yesss, it IS as big as a groundhog - just ask Rachel!

(BTW, we are speaking of my gut here... don't go assuming that Rachel did ANYTHING indecent!)

Visit here maybe once per day while I'm teaching, and perhaps five or six times per day while in the booth. The last thing I want to do, however, is be on this site constantly while at the theatre. Don't want to lose internet privleges.
