Reminds me of the Wimpy merchandising gimmick of the Bender frankfurter... ok there's lots of milage in bender jokes....

It's just a plain frankfurter for Gods sake.... are the piblic really that gullable?

Besides, why should we spend 5 minutes to "pretty it up" and in two munches within 10 seconds it is history except for the "recycling" phase that occurs about 6 to 8 hours later. That time can be variable, especially if it is a rottin' weenie. [Eek!]

The only reason I would get one of those is if I had a 5-year old kid who was a fussy eater and this gimmick would get him to want to eat.

We used to do the same thing with hot dogs when I worked at Dairy Queen in high school. We didn't make any sea critters though. High school boys will tend to "pervert" about anything they can get their hands on.

We'd take a regular old hot dog weiner, put a slit in the end (not all the way through), then make a slit around the circumference about 1" from the end of it. We'd then deep fry it for about 20 seconds and PRESTO.. an anatomical wonder. Never served any that way... but boy was it tempting.

If the octopussies won't stay on the spiral springs right-side-up, they can be inverted, with four evenly spaced, with their heads in the coil springs. Then their twirling and rotating would set their arms a-twitching! [Eek!]

We may not sell many, but who says the concessions ALL have to turn a profit? The hot-dog display may prove more entertaining than the films shown lately. [Wink]
