Disney sure doesn't waste any time...

Pam Dawber recently told Working Mother Magazine that her husband, Mark Harmon, is already in talks with Disney about Freaky Friday 2.

Freaky Friday is currently in theaters, has gotten mostly positive reviews, and is on its way to topping $100 million in domestic gross.

You know if they were smart they wouldn't use the same gimmick and have them switch bodies with each other, or the pets, or anyone else. They shouldn't even call it Freaky Friday. They should just take the same two characters that audiences liked and put them in a compleatly DIFFERENT situation. More or less a continuation of the previous story instead of the same thing all over again. Of course that is not going to happen and they are just going to do the usual sequel hack job on it and no one is going to see it.

They should go find that Chinese lady who put the spell on them in the first place, find out how she did it, then fly to China and switch everyone around over there.

Other sequel ideas:

Retitle it YADIRF YKAERF, run the film backwards and rake in a cool $50 mil with no production cost.

Call it SILLY SATURDAY and have it be like Groundhog Day, where the characters repeat the same actions again until they get it right

Call it FRIDAY FREAKS and have Cheech and Chong switch bodies with each other

Come on, everybody! Let's help Disney out with more sequel ideas! [Big Grin]

They need to be bright: Call up Ice Cube & Chris Tucker, then double up on value by shooting The Next Freaky Friday After Next.
