The singer-songwriter, lost his battle with cancer on Sunday at his home in West Hollywood, California. Zevon finished his final studio recording shortly before his death. "The Wind", Which features guest appearances from Jackson Browne, Bruce Springsteen, Dwight Yoakam. He was 56 years old.

Indeed it was a sad day last Sunday. Some friends and I got together on Monday drank beer and listened to his records all night. He will be missed!
