Here is a pic of Brad waving to a hitch-hiker after running him over. The guy deserved it since he gave Brad the finger.
(With apologies in advance to Adam of Cinema Tour for stealing this pic without permission!)

That's Adam's hand trying to stop Brad in his rage! Notice the smile on his face! What a sickie!

Brad was probably still stressed out from the accident with the Mexican lady without insurance.
Which reminds me, California is now issuing new driver licenses.

Yes Mike, We don't need no stinkin' badges... Just a driver license! Great pic! I love it!

Hmmmm, guess I can tear up Adam's invitation to our November gathering since he won't be needing it. First he drags me to every closed theater in Texas and then he goes and posts that picture of him trying to molest me while I am driving. Hey, what's that strange noise coming from the Cinematour server? Hmmmmmm, how odd. I should really unplug it until I get around to figuring out what that noise is sometime next year.
On another note Phil, I certainly enjoy you posting that picture and I hope you enjoy your new picture. It is sooooooooo you!

Yes Brad, that pic of me is really cool! I am thinking of posting my "private stock" of the pics I have of you...

Wow. I've never seen Brad from the side before. It doesn't even look like him. I guess I just never looked at him. Is that a new, shorter hairdo? Brad loves getting his picture taken.
Posted by Adam Martin (Member # 641) on 09-13-2003, 12:26 PM:
Ironic that it was the Film-Tech server that went down last night, no?
It's weird that Phil knew the exact context of that photo.

I'm just gonna let that one go.

Adam, what a great idea you had to switch the labels on the server cables while you were at Brad's place this last time. I bet since he isn't very technical, he was totally scratching his head as to WTF was going on!

Upgraded were being done to the server last night. In the meantime you just keep smiling there.
Phil, shouldn't you be taking a siesta?
Posted by Gordon McLeod (Member # 33) on 09-13-2003, 04:49 PM:
No he is having his margarita break

Badges?!?

Paul always says,
"I need a drink",
Me too! Let's go. Make mine a Beefeater Gin Gibson.

Bob, sometime after I get my first paycheck from the college (not 'til the end of October alas
) we can drink to Brad's Road Rage (which in itself sounds like a good name for a drink). We can toast the memory of all the idiots Brad has or will dispatch with his SUV (equipped with glass floorboards so he can see if the target was someone he knew
).
New thread candidate. Time to hear from the Film-Tech mixologists out there. What would go into a Brad's Road Rage?
Posted by Mark Lensenmayer (Member # 134) on 09-14-2003, 12:57 PM:
OK...I'll do it.
Phil doesn't need any stinking badges!

That is a great name for a mixed drink or maybe a techno-disco dance club just off the I-30 near Rockwall.
In big hot-pink neon: "Brad's Road Rage"
Dancin' - nightly. Drinkin' - daily. Sex, drugs, and rock & roll - never, never, never. Tuesdays are karaoke nights. Sunday is our special sermon day. This week's sermon is "Do you know what hell is?" Come in and hear Brad sing.
Paul: I loved the line about the glass Floorboards!

It would be hilarious to hear Brad sing. Especially if it were the theme songs from The Bodyguard and/or Titanic, with him dressed in a tux singing to a lounge audience.

My name is Brad
My name is Brad
Some call me Tad-Pole
So call me Tad
They say I'm bad
I'm very Glad
to be a Tad-Pole
I took my Pole
into the Hole
and what a Thrill,
she forgot the Pill
And now it's Said
I should be Dead
I lost my Head
Inside that......Tad-Pole
Add your own tune.
Posted by Phil Hill (Member # 371) on 09-14-2003, 07:44 PM:
Bob, those lyrics would go good with the tune "My Name Is Prince"!

Just bringing this back up to the top. It's just TOO good of a "Brad" topic to let die... He really is a sickie!

A sickie? Is that like "commie"?
Posted by Michael Schaffer (Member # 1204) on 09-19-2003, 06:20 AM:
Here is something that should make every upstanding American citizen really sick: Today I got my driver license. It only took them 3 months to make that plastic card. Now I can do everything that all the illegal aliens can also do, like getting a membership card for a video store.
Posted by Bruce McGee (Member # 131) on 09-19-2003, 07:16 AM:
Is it true that Brad sings like Tiny Tim, of "Tiptoe Through The Tulips" fame?
Posted by Bob Maar (Member # 763) on 09-19-2003, 07:56 AM:
Yes, it's very true. Now all members should be very frightened. By the way, when Brad asks you for your SS No. and your VISA number...don't give it to him.

And so Michael is now officially an official citizen of the PRC (People's Republic of California). Congratulations are in order... I think.
Not that having a CA driver's license is any great distinction anymore--Gov. Gray just signed a bill into law that allows illegal aliens to obtain CA driver's licenses. Oh, and the state just tripled all of the fees PRC citizens pay to register their cars there. Though I miss the balmy SoCal coastal weather and my friends there very much, I think I'm glad to be getting back on my financial feet here in NV, even if state government here is just as disfunctional as CA's, only with smaller numbers. Heck, half the people here now are from CA and HI anyway, and the college campus I now teach and tutor at is full of Japanese foreign exchange students. I don't feel so out of place here anymore.
Sorta back on topic, in the '70s there was a tavern in Grand Junction, CO called The Timbers. That place was a favorite hangout for the aviation students from Colorado Northwestern Community College just up the road in Rangley. The Timbers used to serve a drink that was essentially a salad bowl sized Long Island Iced Tea. It was called The Final Exam. House rules said that anyone who could handle The Final Exam got anything else they wanted that night on the house.
Perhaps the Rockwall, TX version of that drink will come to be known as Brad's Road Rage.
Posted by Leo Enticknap (Member # 534) on 09-19-2003, 03:15 PM:
Well, hang on in there. Maybe Gov. Schwarzenegger will pass a law that allows illegal aliens to be shot.

Me too! Let's go. Make mine a Beefeater Gin Gibson.
'Leo's Rail Rage' would have to include Plymouth Gin, which is a bit of a problem, because they don't sell it on any of the trains I travel on (which, needless to say, adds to the rage)...
Posted by Bob Maar (Member # 763) on 09-19-2003, 03:33 PM:
Leo, I do keep a bottle of Plymouth Gin in my bar in both New York and Newport. So when you visit the Colonies please stop by for some refreshment.

Just so you know, Bob, I will be in Buffalo next week. I won`t have time to make it down to NYC, but it is already dangerously close.
Or you could come up and face Gordon McL and me at the bar - if you dare.
