, but when you go to see the film it looks a whole lot better? not 70mm or anything, but a whole lot better. i'm talking about divine intervention, the cuckoo, and luther. based on the trailer, there's no way i would have seen luther, but since we're playing it i caught a glimpse of the feature and saw it looked completely different. i'd guess it was shot on film, then scanned 2k for effects, which is a whole lot better than the trailer looked. how do they expect to "sell" the movie this way?

Many independent movies have their trailers edited on standard definition video, and they look horrible as a result. Whent he movie comes out it looks ten times better because it was shot on film.
