You didn't notice the big chip... I mean, the precision key-notch that's cut on the top edge of the tool.

That's an exciter lamp filament re-attachment and lateral alignment motivator.

It's also used sparingly on projector lenses (in changeover booths) for trimming horizontal screen placement.

Its use was adapted from the Cinerama system, where it saw wide usage as a registration tool.

Looks like a nice pile of junk, but shipping costs would really be prohibitive. Price looks reasonable for everthing that is there. If I was within 50 miles of the place, I would bid on it.

I wonder if Gordon knows this guy?
