A Celebration of Cinema and Auckland Lifestyle
Featuring a 3-storey high cinema screen & seating for 2000, the Openair Cinema is set in the heart of the city at the Viaduct Harbour and offers a unique celebration of cinema and Auckland lifestyle. From early evening patrons gather to eat, drink and mingle at the various restaurants and bars in the viaduct, then meander over to Te Wero Island home of the super-yachts, to enjoy the sunset, a drink and maybe an ice cream. Then as night falls we blow up the giant cinema screen for an unforgettable movie going experience. The first season includes a selection of new release films, classic movies and recent New Zealand movie productions.

Paul,
That sounds like fun!
Do you have any pictures to share with us?
I am particularly interested in the inflatable screen.

Hey Paul! That sounds like an exciting adventure. I'm looking forward to the photos. Here in the U.S. a "viaduct" is a pipe for carrying water. What is it in N.Z.?
