There is a website, www.craptowns.com , where you can nominate your favorite total dive, read what others have said about it, or defend it. There's a US section too.

This is what Sarah Janes has to say about Croydon, where I live:-

"Town/Village: Croydon - Arsehole of the southeast

Amenities:
Full of mockney wankers and Wetherspoon pubs. For those who are unfortunate enough to be born and raised in the locale all know of its perils and pitfalls.

West Croydon bus station serves as a kind of halfway house for the mental health ward at Mayday hospital. The floor is littered with KFC chicken bones like some ancient caveman dwelling and the air stinks of piss and Vaseline. From here, if you avoid being chopped into bitesize chunks and stuffed into a second-hand suitcase, you can make your way up to the high street. Be careful not to look anyone in the eye or smile, this is often misconstrudled and could lead to verbal and even physical abuse. For example the offended party might say something along the lines of - "Whatchoo lookin' at you fuckin' cunt?" and then poke you in the eye with a half-snouted Lambert and Butler.

You will see (out of the good eye) another side of Croydon folk at well-known Croydon nightspot 'The Blue Orchid'. This is not to be confused with 'The Meat Market' in Surrey Street, though the purpose is much the same. If you are lucky (depending on how you define lucky) you might spot page three-boob-cruise-Croydon-born Lindsey Dawn McKensie, (who I went to school with incidentally), or Beppe from EastEnders. However you are more likely to spot groups of middle-aged women on the pull and they'll probably be clad in leather and leopard-skin, chain smoking, laughing like drains and eating Scotch eggs and garlic bread. The toilets quite often have police incident boards in them but generally speaking if you stick to the 80s lounge you can avoid trouble. Just be careful no-one slips Rophypnol into your Bacardi Breezer, else you might not conciously find yourself being shagged senseless by someone almost certainly called Steve but whom you won't know from Adam.

For fun,why not try the lift in the Drummond Centre (it's glass!) or indulge in a bit of thieving? Try on a variety of hats in Debenhams if the mood takes you. And it's always a good laugh to hang around at a bus stop for a few hours spitting at old people and drinking 20/20.

Your social status in Croydon depends upon whether you live closer to the chocolate factory or shit works. The latter being the less desirable of the two. I lived closer to the shit works.

Pretty fair asessment; some of the entries do seem rather unfair though, Hackney, in the East End of London, has one of the best parks in London, pleasant canal-side walks, and some fine old architecture, including the Hackney Empire theatre, web page

I got the four of the most important things in the world for Christmas..

My wife, niece, sister in law and mother in law are here to celebrate with me. Watching the 3 yeard old see that Santa found her even when she wasn't home was all the joy I needed...

The bird is in the Rotisserie and I'm off to shower and get ready for work..If all our patrons are as nice in spirits as I am right now, we'll have a great day...

Fortunately, -lots of clothes. -Sensible, soft packets, that I've allways been a bit late getting bought myself. Not only lots of - but in big pieces, as required, to go all around Yours sincerely.
Plus from the less sensible department, a couple of very dear dvds with Laurel & Hardy shorts, which my mother ordered me to bring with me home from a trip to Hamburg, Germany last week. -They are not (yet) available i Denmark. Big Business, Below Zero, Music Box, Night Owls, Midnight Patrol, The Fixer Uppers and Habeas Corpus. -Great, great fun !
And - not to forget - plenty of my absolute favourite: Roast Pork, -the good oldfashioned, danish way with small, sugarbrowned potatoes, red cabbage and gravy and a nice bottle of french red wine. Yummy ! One almost forgot, it was one night only; today The King Returns two more times...
If You're as oldfasnioned as we are in this house, You might also appreciate the dvd's, I brought along from Hamburg for my mother with concerts with her big number one, dutch violinist and bandleader André Rieu, who we think has a wonderful way to make classical music hit very wide. (www.andrerieu.com, if You don't know him. -Mr Rieu and his 45 piece Strauss orchestra will be on tour in the states this spring).

My family and I got a new home after being without one for almost 2 years (we were living with friends) I got a 100 pack of blank CD-Rs, some clothes that don't fit (from the extended family), and "The Slapstick Encyclopedia" on 5 DVDs from Blackhawk Films and Image Entertainment. (Oh, beautiful Mabel!)

First and foremost, got to see the family and not work. It was wonderful. I got mostly movies: Seabiscuit, Hulk, Pirates of the Carribean, and James Bond vol. 3. My sis got me Indy but I already have had it since day 1. Oh well, she said I can exchange it. It was funny because my brother in law said he wanted it and we could trade for something, but my mom got Indy for him. I also got a Beatles photo album (very cool) and a book about the 2003 Cubbies. I have a feeling it's going to be a great read up until it talks about the NLCS. Finally, the obligatory cash and giftcards. All in all, a great holiday. Oh yes, and I ate VERY VERY well. I love being Polish!

In addition to the best thing (time with family, friends, etc.), I got the usual assortment of books, clothes, gift certificates, etc. My parents also gave me a pair of snow tires for my car (which I need to get installed this weekend).

At the 6-plex, Santa (or someone) delivered another set of SRD cards for the CP-500s, but didn't come through with the platter bulbs or splicing tape that I asked for six months ago.

I got plenty of hours & job-related headaches!!!

I got a call from management on Xmas eve night, the only holdiay time I request off, that no Union projectionist showed up as planned to build our Paycheck & Peter Pan prints. 10 pm - 7 am was spent building & screening said prints, changing belts that went on one of my makeup tables & in a projector when I attempted to screen Peter Pan, changing trailers, etc. Sitting through Paycheck was the worst misfortune of all. Until...

I return to the theater at 4 pm Xmas day. Based on my Xmas eve all-nighter management was gonna let me off the hook for working Xmas. I felt Id come check in anyway. No good deed goes unpunished.

I snuck down to the concession stand for a glass of Hi-C. AS I walked out of the kitchen stepped on the bottom of a leaning handtruck, just out of view beside the freezers, causing the handtruck to stand upright, nail me right on the elbow &let go of my beloved glass at just the right moment to no drop it but send it flying, causing it to both spectacularly shatter and irrigate the kitchen area w/ Hi-C. As I cleaned this up an on-break concessionist told me that lotr:rotk had just "stopped." I made the run upstairs & discovered that the print had indeed been thrown, reels 8&9 being all over the tree, the brains of both the platter is was feeing & takign up from, & the arm on which the platter rests. Between tending to my other starts I didnt leave until 3 am. Before you say "but you only threw 2 reels" you didnt see the mess this made.

On Chistmas Day I saw my family for 1 hr, my girlfriend not at all & caught a Christmas Story not once on TNT.

In an epilogue to this sob story,today a patron aprently tore a stall door from its hinges,& ran with his own poop all over him from the bathroom through the lobby & out the door. He left a trail behind him, including a particularly nice-sized Yule log near the concession stand. I can only assume he must have seen Paycheck. At least I didnt have to clean that up.

As far as nifty loot -
my grandma knit a nice sweater & two pairs of mittens for me
my mom made two flannel nightgowns for me
my brother gave me some CD's (Smashing Pumkins & Phish)
my sister gave me the Solitary Witch by Silver Ravenwolf; as well as some magickal spell components
my sweetie wrote a poem for me & gave me a ceramic dragon he painted
my parents also gave me the Two Towers on dvd (the extended version), and a 3/4 length purple leather jacket

other loot from parents & other relatives included:
two pairs of shoes
stackable teapot / mug set
two nifty candle holders
a powerpuff girls coloring book
a bag of dove (dark chocolate) promises
a new toothbrush
a bag of little lad's herbal popcorn
a bottle of lubriderm & a bottle of 'Hempz' lotion
a punching balloon
a bottle of 'Mr Bubbles' (with the "magic wand" inside the bottle)
four Magic: the Gathering booster packs

for Yule - I got to spend an evening with my closest friends, my adult siblings, and my sweetie.
For Yule my sweetie gave me a spiffy, astrologically themed tapestry ... and a couple of highly noticable marks on my neck.

All in all - a great holiday week.

BTW: That reminds me. I need another bottle!

The Western North Carolina mountains is the place to be. Jason is going to Fontana Lake. Beautiful place. The closest Wal-Mart is in Sylva, or Franklin. I'm not sure, but it's a long drive to get there either way.

OK, Aside from alot of nice things I got 30 inches of snow for Christmas. Now I feel like I moved in TOO close to the mountains. Its already been snowing for 3 days here and the Weatherman says that tommrrow the big winds are headed in from California (I don't like it there either) to bring us more snow and redistribute what snow it dumped on us the first time. Hopefully it'll blow back where it came from...California in this case. Five snowboarders were caught in a massive avalanche that is estimated to be 4 city blocks wide, 30 feet deep and 1600 feet up a mountain side near Redford's Sundance. Two were able to dig themselves out. One body was found today, two are still missing under 15 to 30 feet of snow! The Sherrif's rescue people numbering about 50 resuses to give up looking for the other two in spite of the fact thet they could also be burried in another avalanche! On the news tonight a story about a family of five that were killed in their Motor Home when they were blown off I-15 then another story about the 8 different UHP Officers that were run into and injured, some seriously, while attending to various accidents along Utahs Highways. My service van is literally frozen shut and its going to snow some more! They say 4" to 6" more in the valley and 1 to 2 feet more in the mountains and they told us we'd get 6 inches the first time .

So here the weather has been a real pisser for Christmas and will stay the same for a couple more days. This is the worst winter for people in Utah since I moved out here. The last really bad winter here was in 1994.

A beautiful sappire and diamond band ring from Don
Sappire and diamond earrings to match (I'm SO spoiled!)
A car payment from my parents.
Slippers from my mom.
A whole bunch of coke collectables from Don's sisters.
A WalMart giftcard from my ex-husband. (Still friends)
Money in a card from my grams.

I didn't get to see my family, I have to wait until February when my Mom and Grammy are coming to visit.

As usual, didn´t get a white X-mas (but it looks like a white New Years), but other than that I got exactly what I asked for, though I asked fro more than nothing.
The same as always, being, socks, underwear, money and books, not necessarily in that order. Got mostly books, among others Michael Moores latest, and books on WWII, and to much joy my fathers finished project which is a flora (? a book filled with flowers and where to find them) of southern Sweden.
Now I look forward to a relaxed New Years with friends, fireworks, and maybe just a little glass of whiskey.
Unfortuately didn´t have as much time as I wanted to spend time with friends back home, but that´s the way it goes.
Now all that´s left is to find the presents I give myself with the money I got for Christmas.

I know I'm spoiled! I love it!
My car is a 1990 Nissan 240SX SE. I've put a TON of work into it, and it's my baby. I earned enough money at my two previous jobs to buy it, and put all my spare time and money into fixing it up. It's nice to have something to call yours.

Yeah, I would like to know what SGC2C is also.

I hardly ever get anything good for Christmas. Anything I want I buy for myself. I dont tell anyone to get me anything becasue I dont even want to celebrate Christmas, but they still buy me what they want.

Truth is that I would rather get nothing than something I dont want.

One year, when I was 14 or 15 I bought myself a motorcycle. Which I soon wrecked, but oh well.

I haven't gone to sleep yet and my little brother (11 y/o) will be waking up in about 2 hours, so I get some wonderful sleep before work. Yeah, that's what I want for Christmas..sleeep. Being an Asst.MGR I never get home till 1-2 am so that would be nice.

I'm impressed. I didn't own an iron until I was in my mid-20s (and am still on my first one). Before then the tumble dryers in the university laundrette had a 'crease guard' feature which, for an extra 20p per drying cycle, deluded laundry-averse male students into thinking that ironing was a thing of the past. During those years I probably looked like I'd been through the laundrette myself, though...

Got lots of socks! I think that everybody that I know figured that one out.

A NICE suede jacket, some shirts, and 6 pairs of pants (will wear them to work)

The big unexpected present came on 12/24 while I was at work. A friend in Atlanta sent me a trailer for a 1990's movie!

Got to watch my almost 5 year old nephew get waay too much stuff again this year. I gave him 4 presents, and a whoopie cushion. I got to sit back and watch his mom when he pitched a tantrum DURING the opening of presents, and had to go into 'time-out.'

Today (12/26) is MY day again. 48 now. I feel it this morning. Got my birthday present most of the night last night....

EDIT: almost forgot!

Got an exciter lamp for a Holmes 8 in a tiny little box. Thanks, Bruce!

Our family did a secret santa thing where everyone basically bought for only one person, so I didn'y get much, but I'm not complaining.

My sister got me an Urban Myth board game and since I'm always using Snopes to debunk my uncle's e-mails, she addressed it to "snopes".

My parents got me and every other household a webcam so we can look at each other when we're online.

My mom was late on my birthday gift, so a $50 Old Navy gift card was included.

One of my roommates bought me a cinnamon roll scented candle and wrote Jimmy at the top of the label.

And if you want to count shopping for yourself, I gout myself some things last week from Wherehouse Music and Half Price Books.
From Wherehouse I gos Faultline's "Your Love Means Everything", Electronic's "Raise the Pressure", The Verve's "This Is Music" singles compilation, and Placebo's "Once More With Feeling" singles compilation with a remix disc.
Fom Half Price I got a new copy of "Rescue From Gilligan's Island", used "Minority Report", and used "Chicago" all on dvd.
The Chicago was defective so I returned it and got my money back.

I got caught in the Cincinnati snowstorm and jackknifed my rig. Miraculously, I was able to recover and avoided broadsiding an overpass, but it scared the crap outta me! They shut the roads down and I was stuck at a rest area for better than 24 hours. I had food and drinks in my cooler and a TV in the truck, so I wasn't worried about that.

I learned Ohio sure is ill-prepared for snow removal, though. If it had snowed that much in New England, the roads would've been cleared and dry in a few hours.

The upshot was I finally made it home at 2am on Christmas, and I got to stop in and see my father and brothers while passing through KY, so I'm thankful. That was my Christmas present.

At least that is what I was told when I asked my family where my gifts were.

I bought myself a Cold Heat Soldering Iron.

I got snow on Christmas... in Houston!! According to statistics it has been 86 years since that has happened.

I got to watch all the children in my family see and play in snow for the first time.
Sometimes the best things in life are free.

A brand new Sony KDL=L40HVX 40 inch LCD TV complete with built in speakers, digital and high definition tuners. Also, another satellite dish to pick up the HD/digital channels that are now broadcasting over here in Japan. This is the new model with very dark blacks and a viewing angle out to 170 degrees. I love this picture. By the way, Sony is leaving the plasma screen business. I guess they could see the writing on the wall.

An amazing book- " With Scott to the Pole" with large quality reproductions of the polar photographs taken by Herbert Ponting during the expedition of 1910-1913. It's incredible that he managed to take all these plate photos as well as 35mm cinema film , develop and print them in those extreme conditions.

Hey all,

I got a great gift for christmas. I got a trip to the ER after threading up a projector and as i was standing up, I caught my head on the screw sticking out of an Ultra Stereo processor. Who designed that? I got 6 staples and 6 stitches put in my head. Best Christmas ever!

I was the one who designed the screw for the Ultra*Stereo processor. It took me 6 years and $200,000 of R&D to get it "just right". I'm glad the screw was finally used for what it was designed for.

According to our research at Ultra*Stereo, not yet. It's been in use for over a decade now and your case is the first time the screw was activated. We are hoping for more cases but there seems to be fewer and fewer people in the booth close to the sound racks anymore. This makes me sad.

When I worked as a bench tech for Panasonic back in the 70's I used to repair their talking clocks.... this was of course before the dawn of digital back when desk calculators used to cost a grand. To make it talk they used two round magnetic discs that were advanced by the clock. A disc for hours, and a seperate one for miuites with the muniutes overlaid inside the hours disc. A mechanism slid a magnetic head across the discs once a minuite and a Japaneese womans voice annouced the time. To change the language of the clock you just changed the discs. Anyone else ever have one of these....?

New laptop to do engineering junk (and burn DVD's..lol) with.

I remember those talking clocks back then with the flip face numbers, plus when calculators came out in the mid 70's requiring power supplies, or taking 6 "AA" batteries, LED, or flourscent display and a price tag of well over 300 bucks for a simple 10 key basic calculator.

Folks at work gave me a digital camera for some reason. I have been taking pictures of everybody's fingers with the digital camera so they'll feel it's appreciated.

Thank goodness they didn't give me a dental camera.



I gave both my nephews a Radio Shack Remote Controlled Indoor Helicopter each. I thought that they would be useful mostly for picking off ornaments from the tree, but I have since found out that my sister (their mother) got a new chandelier last month.

It's true that you can receive more joy from giving presents than receiving them.

This year I gave my siblings Hollywood gift cards (I originally gave sis a "Harry Potter 3" DVD, unfortunately so did Mom.)

One of my Mom's friends, bluegrass musician Ken Terry, passed away in November. I gave her a collection of his LPs on CD.

I transferred my Dad's All-State Chorus albums to CD, labels & all (did you know it takes lightscribe 30 minutes to burn this...

The extended family got an abridged Lasher-only edition of the "Visions of Summer" DVD.



I got...

...floppy disks, to transfer my screenplays from my dying laptop (using the command prompt, no less)

...cassette tapes, to make groovy 2-hour mixes for when I'm on the road.

Some assembly required:

• Butler Creek 20" heavy target barrell.
• Hogue Overmolded synthetic stock.
• Sightron 3-9 X 40 mil-dot scope.
• Weaver Angle-Lok rings and base.

I already had the rifle. Some of you might remember. It's the one that I used to shoot old xenon lamps with.
I just finished assembling it this evening. Tomorrow, if the weather's not too crappy, I plan to take it out to the range and sight it in. If all goes as planned I should be able to put three shots through the same hole with it.

It usually takes a couple-few hundred rounds to break in a new barrel. After that, I plan to take it to the gunsmith to have the hammer and sear honed down to smooth out the trigger pull then have the bolt face machined for better headspace.

Just THINK of all the xenon lamps I'll be able to shoot then!

I got the Sony LocationFree player. I love it already. For those that don't know, it sends the audio/video signals from a digital cable or satellite box over the Internet or its own wireless network. So you can watch your own television anywhere you can find a wired or wireless broadband connection. (Has an IR blaster attached to access the receiver.) It's very similar to the Slingbox. The reason I opted for Sony's version is compatibility with the PSP. Now I can watch TV on the laptop or the PSP. It's great for work. With students making up 95% of the theaters business, we are going to be dead until mid-January.

Gave a pair of FG-58 sunglasses to a friend at work. Received a little cash from a distant aunt & uncle and a friend.

Bought for myself another couple of anime-related posters (including a rather rare find) to add to the collection. A part of said collection will be going on public display next semester in the Art Space Gallery on the CCSN Cheyenne campus.

So a very small and quiet Christmas - just the way I like it.

I've been getting back into turntables and vinyl. My favorite gift is a brand new vinyl copy of Creedence Clearwater "Bayou Country". Mastered from the original studio tapes by AcousTech Mastering, never been digital, and it sounds effing awesome. CCR Remastered

As gifts to myself, I bought a new Technics turntable, and replaced the factory tonearm with an $800 upgrade. Also got some Sennheiser HD650 headphones.

I got a couple of Lionel O-scale boxcars; a memory upgrade for my computer; some nice clothes; some cash from my parents; and an electric coin-sorter, which I've always wanted for no particular reason.

I gave my wife a couple of jewelry items, the latest Simpsons and Seinfeld DVDs for her to watch when she's out of town working; a portable DVD player and an XM radio for the car while she's traveling. My bro-in-law got a cool pair of Cabelas gloves from us, and my sister got a nice sweater.

And some various and other sundry items were exchanged - socks and such. It was a good Christmas, lots of fun had by all.

David, I'd be interested to know what model Technics turntable and what tone arm upgrade and what cartridge you're using.

I also like vinyl but only have a "stock" Technics SL-1210MK2BLK with a Shure V15VXMR... it serves me well.

While I have about a 100 LPs, most all my collection is of a little over 5000 45s.

Having worked as a "Wedding DJ" for 18 years, I still my my orignal Technics 1200's sitting in a case out in the garage. My new home theatre receiver in the den does not have the PHONO inputs required to pre-amp the signal. I've looked into trying to find a small inexpensive pre-amp to get one of the turntables hooked up, but never found anything in the price range I was willing to spend.

Christmas was OK. My wife and I bought each other new LG-VX8300 cell phones for Christmas. I got her some jewelry, chocolates, suduko stuff (she's addicted), and one of those new ultra-sonic toothbrushes (she wanted it). I got clothes from the inlaws, socks from my sister, a hand made Christmas card from my 4 year old, a new belt-clip watch from my wife, a tent from my parents, and a home equity line from my banker!

I have a pair of Grado SR-60 headphones that sound great, especially for the price. I also have a pair of Sony MDR-7506 headphones, which don't sound as good, but which are useful when "open ear" headphones aren't appropriate (on planes, trains, etc.).

No VPI record cleaner; those things are damned expensive.

For Christmas, I got a nice assortment of books, shirts, sweaters, floor mats for my car, and some other items that I am forgetting.

Phil, I got a Technics SL-1200MK2, black version. The arm is an Origin Live OL1 with all the upgrades (scroll down), actually a rebadged Rega RB250. It's insanely overpriced (admittedly though OL does a *lot* of labor on their mods), but it's a beautiful piece of mechanical work. Origin Live has an upgrade kit specifically for the Technics 1200/1210 that makes the upgrade pretty easy.

The cartridge is a Shure M97xE, a step down from what you have. I think Shure discontinued your cartridge which is a shame. The M97xE sounds great though.

Monte & Scott: I have a VPI HW-16.5 Record Cleaner. During the vinyl dark ages I "sold" it on eBay but the buyer didn't follow through. Now I'm glad I didn't sell it. Grado headphones sound great but their design isn't compatible with my protruding ears. I also have a Grado Prestige Gold cartridge now that I need to set up. Will be interesting to compare it to the Shure.

Heh heh, forgot to mention I gave myself one of those Casio "Waveceptor" solar watches, the kind that listen and hack to WWVB or JJY five times a night. So the thing never needs to be set while in NA or Japan, and with the solar charging of its Lithium Ion battery, never needs to have its battery replaced, at least for quite a few years. My old Casio is still ticking, but after 17 years its plastic case cracked and won't hold a wrist band any more - we'll see how long this stainless steel one holds up. Has all the usual features I like to have in a watch, and though not a pilot's watch per se it should work quite well in that application.

Off topic, I too have one of those Shure V15 micro-ridge stylus cartridges. Very happy with it - the thing will track a pizza. Sorry to hear it's been discontinued. But with as little use as mine gets these days it will probably last for years to come.

David, I looked at your thread and pics on "The Vinyl Engine" ...that's a pretty cool upgrade.

I've had my Shure V15 for 25+ years and it has gone through, and out-lived, several turntables of all types.

I get replacement styli from a place/website called "The Needle Doctor"... they used to have NOS of the V15 type cartridge. Dunno now.

Barry, for recording to my computer sound card line inputs, I use a B-Tech BT26 Phono Preamp. It's RIAA EQ'd, works great, and only costs about 40-50 bux.

Didn't it used to be the fashion to play vinyl LPs wet?

I heard of people making mixtures of distilled water and Kodak "Photo-Flo" to spread on records before playing them. The idea was supposed to be to prevent damage from the dry stylus being "dragged" over the record and to help the stylus pick up more vibrations from the groove.

Or, was this just a bunch of baloney like the way people used to "Green Line" their CDs?

If it IS a valid technique, I'd imagine FilmGuard would work well to lubricate the old vinyl, remove dirt and prevent damage.

On the other hand, you'd pick up more dirt as the oily FG stays on the record for a longer period of time than water and surfactant would.

I would try it as a cleaning fluid. The VPI record cleaner is vacuum-operated. You spread the fluid over the surface of the record, work it in with a brush, then the fluid/dirt is vacuumed off the record, leaving the surface dry and hopefully clean. If FilmGuard leaves a residue it might not be good though.

My homemade cleaning fluid consists of 1 part Windex, 1 part 90% isopropyl alcohol, and 3 parts distilled water. Seems to work very well, leaves no detectable residue. I was hesitant about the Windex at first. Tried other "environmentally friendly" Windex substitutes and hell they don't do anything. Windex works way better. Anyone knows if Windex causes long-term harm to vinyl?

I've heard of wet-playing, never tried it though.

I think Film-Guard would not be suitable for a record. Anything that leaves ANYTHING behind is bad.

I also heard about wet playing but never tried it either. I've never seen a record vacuum, but the best record-cleaning tool I've seen is the Discwasher. It works in about 5 seconds, is cheap and easy to use, and leaves no residue behind. Not sure if it's still available or not. I have two 20-year-old ones that still work just fine given my limited record usage.

There is an actual product, that I'd roughly equate to FG, but designed for records. A Cleaner/Lube, that's supposed to leave a dry film to lubricate the record. It's call Gruv-glide (spelling??), haven't tried it yet though. I will, however, find a vinyl, and polystyrene, record, which I am willing to experiment with, and run some FG on it. The curiousity kills me. Next week, I'm polishing my tires with FG. Just kidding.

attached is a pic of my original landcruiser , have owned it for 29 years and has never let me down, has the 4cylinder 3L diesel in it.

just bought another one for spare parts .

We dont have any rivers here , but heaps of sand and beaches
