Okay, so it's not new or amazing, but if I hadn't said that you wouldn't be reading this.

It's called a "Logout" button. You click it and it lets everyone know you have left the chat room. Yes, there's an auto-logout feature, but it doesn't always work and it takes time to kick in and in the meantime, people are trying to talk to you.

Please use the "Logout" button. Don't be a jerk. [thumbsup]

Well as I type this, you are the only one in the chat room. Looks like everyone used the "Logout" when you got there! [Smile]

The audio quality on my pirate chat room DVDs is much better when I am able to record them in an empty room.

It's a feature dumbass. The last one out doesn't get logged out automatically so that we can all make fun of them for having no life.

Well Mr. Smarty Pants, he didn't say that! So now who is the dumbass?

But I don't wanna use a button! That's extra work.

Daryl after working on the bugs, errr, I mean "features" in the chat room code...

No way. My chair is missing 4 out of the 5 wheels.

I agree Daryl. As long as I've known you, I've ALWAYS thought your were one wheel short...

So my chair should have only two wheels?

That's not Daryl. There are no empty nacho chip bags.

Anyone using Firefox will get a blank screen. Try another browser...we are actually there. [thumbsup]

bump

Firefox works just fine. You may have to reload after logging in, though. I blame Canada.

I tried that...it made no difference. I'll try it again next time.

It works fine on my desktop with firefox but not on my laptop

Firefox on my ancient NT PC works fine with the chat, but like Adam says, I do have to refresh the initial blank screen after logging in. I blame Oz.

I just tried Firefox 3.5.2, Opera 10.10, and IE8. All seem to work ok for me.

Ok, so we don't log out but does anybody log-in????

I have never seen anybody in there.
Are we beating a dead horse that nobody cares about??

Who uses the chat?????
ANYBODY??

There've been some marathon chats recently. It's just the luck of the draw.

yeah...the holiday times tend to kick things up...I've been in there several times over this weekend. Don't be afraid to start a chat either. Just open the room and and go about your business...check back occasionally and you might find other in there. Sometimes it just needs a kick start.

I wish the "gong" was an OPTIONAL feature and brought back...then you would know when someone else comes in.

Yup! That was cool!

Agreed. But everyone should be able to upload their own gong sound so everyone makes a unique sound upon entrance. THAT would be extraordinary.

Or better yet...Brad could sell "gong tones" and make a profit!

Hey, it was Film-Tech's 11 year anniversary 3 days ago. If we can keep running for that long without having to resort to ads and silly things like that then why start now, eh? [Cool]

3 cheers to you, Mr Miller.
