Happy Birthday, Thomas! [thumbsup]

Should we refer to our bday as our "release date" or would that just be too geeky? [Razz]

The real question before us is:

When the heck is Brad's Birthday? Surely that's a date that ought to live in infamy! [Wink]

Please note incorrect usage of the contraction "who's" in the header, which ought to be corrected to "whose."

You need to add another date to that list Scott.

7/6 The almighty Richard Greco [Smile]

What gives Scott? You forgot the most important one of all-August 24th!

in 79ad Mt Vesuvius erupted
410ad the Visigoths sack Rome
1853 the patato chip is invented
1891 Thomas Edison patented the Motion Picture camera
Most importantly in 1983 Chris Hipp was born

EDIT:

You can see what happened on your bday in history at http://www.wildabout.co.uk/today/0205.htm
Just put in the date in the URL.

Foudn this on Thomas'

1870 1st motion picture shown to a theater audience, Philadelphia

...And I thought today would be henceforth known as "International Dig Up Every Birthday Thread on Film-Tech Day". [Big Grin]

Along as we're at it...lets add 3/20, birthday of director Spike Lee; the late Fred ("Mr.") Rogers; actors William Hurt, Hal Linden, Ozzie Nelson and Carl Reiner; actress Holly Hunter; Chester Bennington of the group Linkin Park; and some obscure Film-Techer, #163. [Smile]

"This day in history"

Feburary 5, 2003

Secretary of State Colin Powell urged the U.N. Security Council to move against Saddam Hussein, saying Iraq had failed to disarm, was harboring terrorists and was hiding behind a "web of lies."

Happy Birthday Tom!

*Checks Scott's list*

Um... 8/19, not 8/18 for me!

Don't feel bad, some years my grandmother thinks my birthday is the 20th, other years she thinks it's the 18th, once in a while she gets it right. [Razz]

Mine is August 13, 1968. I've never had much of a knack for remembering birthdays, but I can still remember some old phone numbers from summer 1981 when we got a phone for the first time in 8 years then.

So if we're going to refer to our birthdays as "release dates", then what will "sneak previews" be?

Happy Birthday, Thoma's !

BTW Scott, my birthday is 8/7.
Evans would have employed error-checking calculations that would have caught that.

Okay, youngsters, just you wait. There will come a time when you can't remember how old you are! I spent most of my 38th year thinking I was 39!

Sometimes, I even have to count the years to figure it out!
