There are no words to express how vile this stuff is so I will say
This would be good to keep next to your household cleaners in case you need to induce vomiting for some reason.
This is stuff that Coca Cola is actually selling, not something I put together.

Why not regular Coke with lime? I don't get it.

Gawd, I bought a 16oz. bottle of the stuff the a week ago at the grocery store. Pretty nasty. I like Diet Coke by itself. But with lime it tastes kind of like how floor cleaner smells.

I like it . . Gee, I wonder if there is something wrong with my taste buds?

I think the people at Coke are responding to real-world information.
Diet Coke with lime seems to be a favorite with the dieting set. I've known several people in the past who were constantly dieting. Back in those days, they had to add the lime themselves and my hunch is that's the way to get the best result.
I've personally never tried the stuff either way.

Claude,
No, I'm with you. It's Joe. Definitely Joe. We all know how much Joe sucks anwyay, so it is therefore decided that his taste buds suck as well.
I'm not sure about Bobby. I'm wondering if his taste buds dont' suck also.

Jason: Once again, you have confirmed to everyone that you have absolutely NO taste!
This is just another lame attempt from PepsiCo to market their inferior products with BS hypes.
They have a long list of failures... most notably: Crystal Pepsi. YUK! (And to think I was part of that promotion on MTV!)
Coca-Cola had "Lime Coke" (at least in the fountain) waaaay back in the 60's if not earlier.
Oh? What? It's not Pepsi? Ummmmm.... nevermind.
Well at least Coke has never screwed around with their "Classic" taste formula!

Yes they did. The original "Coca-Cola" which was removed from stores, then returned a couple of years later as "Coca-Cola Classic" are not the same mixes.

Ummmm...Brad, did you notice the winking smilie after that statement.
I'm really surprised at you since you're ALWAYS ON MY ASS to put smilies in my posts so "people will understand" me.

Here the most requested is Raspberry & Coke.
Really nice made with Coke & Raspberry syrup

The original Coke had cocaine in it so they definitely altered the original formula.
And Jason... I've never even tasted Diet Coke with lime! My taste buds probably do suck, because I also hate:
Tomatoes (but love tomato sauce with spaghetti and pizza, etc)
Most other vegetables
Coffee
Any food that is overly prepared or has too many damn ingredients (the fancier the food, the more I will hate it).

Lime now? Didnt' they do this with lemon a few months ago?
For the record I like Coke better, but as far as Lemon flavored colas go, I like Pepsi Twist best.
Phil, Crystal Pepsi was the shizle-nit. They need to bring it back.
(It's way better than the Pepsi Blue crap.)

Well Mike, I'll pass your comments on at the next PepsiCo board meeting.
I'm sure they will make the right decision.
The ONLY thing HOT about that promo was the lady who did the video:

I like Diet Coke with Lime and I HATE the taste of regular Diet or Diet with Lemon. But anything Coke is good anyway, they can't go wrong.
Pepsi on the other hand...

The taste of diet cole alone is enough to make me want to puke so I wouldnt know for sure what diet coke with real lime taste like, but I am pretty sure it is not the same as this stuff.
Good is Vanilla Coke mixed with cranberry juice. That's good stuff.

What a bunch of Pre-verts! Yous take an innocent pic and turn it into something for your own perverted pleasures!
(Tim, I'm ROTFL! That is hilarious!)

Good job Tim, Keep up the good work!!
I saw the stuff at the store last night. At home we drink Diet Coke, Cherry Coke, regular Coke, and Vanilla Coke. Always in stock all the time! And Diet coke is not at all bad, just takes a week or so to get used to it. Once thats happened regular coke tastes pretty much like cough syrup.
I noticed that no one had touched the Coke with Lime at the Albertsons that I shop at. Whilst the other Coke shelves had been picked just about clean by 8P.M. when I went shopping last night. I think Coke with Lime is going to be a BIG looser in Utah!

Diet Coke with lime? Calcium oxide? Is it some kind of paste you eat with a spoon?

Didn't you know that the tomato is a fruit?
Posted by Joe Redifer (Member # 3) on 02-09-2004, 09:17 PM:
Yeah, so are peas, technically.
There are quite a few "vegetables" (both real and "fruit") that I do like. Like peas. And corn. And more.

Having never worked in a restaurant I don't know whether this is standard practice or merely coincidence, but I have noticed that when more than one person at my table orders Coke (or other dark soft drink) the regular ones come with a lemon slice and the diet ones come with a lime slice. Is this dictated by Coke? Some places use the one straw vs. two straw system, but most seem to use the Lemon vs. Lime. I don't think either flavour works very well though - I usually throw them away.
btw am I the only one who thinks Vanilla Coke tastes like Coke + Caramel + Mint? Vile combination...

I have to say, I like the Diet Coke with Lime. But, I liek Diet Coke with Lemon, as well. Can't stand Diet Coke plain though. DId drink a lot of Pepsi Twist when it came out, but they were promoting it in my theatre, and they let us have it for free.
