What kind of animals would the FT moderators come back as? Choose at least one moderator -- or more -- and explain what characteristics they have in common with the animal(s) you chose.
Please limit your "predictions" to the moderators! No need to worry about hurting their feelings -- I have it on "good authority" that they have none!
Rachel -- St. Bernard. She reminds me of a cuddly toy I won at a carnival
Brad -- a frog, because he's probably more afraid of me than I am of him
Joe -- a cat, because it's all about him
Scott -- a bear. I don't really know why. It just seems right.
I've got nothing for the others so far. Stay tuned!

Dear Diary:
I'm trying to find a Canadian animal that works real hard and doesn't require much sleep.
Yours as always,
Manny.

Beaver
Posted by Rachel Gilardi (Member # 1016) on 02-28-2004, 11:42 AM:
Now Gordy, who would you be talking of?
Brad - A Big NICE Bear. Just reminds me of a Cuddly teddy Bear.
Not the kind that would rip you to pieces...
Joe - A Dog. Because that's what he is.
Adam - A Rat. Because he looks like my ex and they called him Rat Boy back in High school. Although Adam DOESN'T resemble a rat at all!
Daryl - A Cat. Because he's always sleeping!
Scott - A Turtoise. Because he's so shy.

That should be "dawg" and not "dog", dawg.
Posted by Rachel Gilardi (Member # 1016) on 02-28-2004, 06:02 PM:
No Joe, I meant Dog.
And Manny, thanks for the entertaining posts - as always!

I think Manny will come back as a gerbil. After all he IS "bootylicious" ya know!
Rachel will of course come back as a chipmunk, being that she is chipper and all.
Daryl will return as an owl. Always quietly watching everyone, very smart and doesn't sleep much.
Scott will be a penguin. You'll have to ask him why.
Adam will come back as a giraffe. He's too tall as it is.
Joe will return as a chimp...always having fun flinging crap at people.
Scott Neff will return as a chicken, only to be slaughtered for a Chick-Fil-A sandwich.
Ian Price will be an elephant, for no reincarnation of him will be small.
Ky Boyd will return as a laughing hyiena. Just look at his forum picture and it'll make sense.
Josh Jones will come back as a deer, just content doing his thing quietly all to himself and not bothering anyone.
John Pytlak will most probably return as a parrot. He is the linkmaster to information on the web as it is, but in his future animal life he would quote things verbally.
Michael Schaffer will be a German shepard.
Dan Lyons would come back as a little puppy dog.
Phil Hill will be one of those little circus monkeys...or possibly a sperm whale...or I suppose an anteater (since they suck).

I will never die. Every moderator except Rachel will come back as an ant. And then I will step on them and the world will finally be mine!
Rachel will come back as a baboon. Oh wait she already is a baboon!

Oh Puleeze! Ya know Brad, sometimes I think you have a brain...this is not one of them.
I agree with Joe, Dead ant, dead ant, dah dead ant, etc... All of yous mods! Except Joe...He's STILL my hero!
BTW: When did Ian, Ky, and Scott #2 become mods? I wish the F*uck you'd get it together Mr. Grand-Poo-BAH!
I would vote for Manny to be a mod, but I'm not into gerbils...(thank God!) besides, I know how to cook pasta!
>>> Phil
(And I gave much shit to Manny in email about this POINTLESS thread. I guess I was WAAAAAAY off-base, huh?)
Posted by Michael Schaffer (Member # 1204) on 02-29-2004, 03:29 AM:
Actually, at this time I intend to return as a Great White Shark.
Posted by Manny Knowles (Member # 1171) on 02-29-2004, 09:59 AM:
I dunno how great you'd be.
Why not come back as a spider?
Posted by Kyle McEachern (Member # 2250) on 02-29-2004, 03:05 PM:
Now that I work for Adam, I guess I should contribute. I'll have to second the 'rat', but rather than the giraffe, I think one of those walking stick insects - when he turns sideways I swear the man disappears.
Either that or some sort of hawk, picking out EVERY LITTLE MISTAKE!

"Think of" or "find"?
Posted by Daryl C. W. O'Shea (Member # 1303) on 02-29-2004, 05:24 PM:
Find. You don't think of animals you don't already know about.
Posted by Brad Miller (Member # 2) on 03-04-2004, 05:54 AM:
Makes me wonder what Manny would do with that Canadian "animal" once he found him.
Posted by Adam Martin (Member # 641) on 03-04-2004, 06:26 PM:
Why ... he'd cook it and eat it, of course! Mmmmm ... beaver.
Posted by Daryl C. W. O'Shea (Member # 1303) on 03-04-2004, 06:49 PM:
You sure about that Adam? I thought beaver tastes a lot like your definition of fish tacos.
Posted by Joe Redifer (Member # 3) on 03-04-2004, 10:24 PM:
Fish tacos? Depends on the beaver.

Taste more like Play Doh if you ask me
Posted by Bob Maar (Member # 763) on 03-05-2004, 12:40 PM:
The problem is in the cooking.
You don't cook a beaver you eat it raw. And of course, it smells like fish, after all it is a beaver.
Posted by Rachel Gilardi (Member # 1016) on 03-29-2004, 08:57 PM:
Where do you people get fish from??? I think Don's version is baby puppy. To me it just smells like beaver - hot or raw!

WHAT???
Posted by Bob Maar (Member # 763) on 03-31-2004, 10:52 AM:
A Canadian Beaver tastes exactly like Rachel's cat tasted at the bar-b-que last summer. It's the gerbil's you have to watch out for.
Posted by Paul Mayer (Member # 355) on 03-31-2004, 11:12 AM:
Gerbils? Did those come with or without the applicator?
