I have been tossing aroung the idea of joining a local chapter for a while, but as you know our schedules are not the same as many others. I wanted to know if any of you in the North Texas area were into motorcycles and if so did you know of any chapters that fit our schedules. Some friends and I were tossing around the idea of just starting our own informal group that fit our hectic theater schedueles and I wanted to know if anyone else was interested.

Check out this thread

There are a few on here. I ride an 03 GSXR 600 and a 78 cb750k. I'm pretty anti social though and not sure I Would want to join a club.

Maybe it is chaped because I have been "OUT" too long. No not really.

Actually I have the lates Film-Tech prototype, Anal Guard! So, that isnt a problem for me.

Ummmm... so Chris, are you saying that film-guard is a good lube for "other" things than film?

Gosh, I'd be careful about using it for things it's not labeled for.

45? Holy sh!t! It was 95 here today! Many cute guys and gals riding around in convertibles and on bikes (motor hertz)!

My tongue got hard just "looking" at the scenery... Hubba Hubba! [Smile]

Josh: Ya REALLY gotta move to somewhere where ya can ride ALL the time!

Daryl: I'm starting to agree with you, Chris, Josh, and Jason... me thinks I need to get another bike. Hmmm...what should I get?

I think a Vespa would suit you nicely, Phil [Big Grin]

Josh, Don't knock the 750's they are good bikes, although most on the road now look like [bs]

I have some carb parts coming hopefully tomorrow for my 750 so I can get it running good, in the meantime I jsut have to ride that stupid sport bike [evil]

I am not a Texas Biker.

I saw this really cool-looking bike on the weekend. It looked like a Harley and a Vespa had fallen in love and had a child.

It wasn't a Vespa but it was Italian. The thing looked like it belonged in the next "Batman" movie.

Gorgeous! [thumbsup]

Chris,

I'm not into 'Zuki's that much.. but I thought the new 750's were FI?

Phil...

For someone getting back into bikes.. I'd look at the Honda 919.. or possibly a Yamaha Road Star Warrior. I think you'd be more comfortable lugging all teh 'stuff' from your 'dungeon' around on a cruier/sporttourer type bike, rather than a 'crotch rocket'. If that's what you want.. look no further than Honda's CBR 954RR or Yamaha's R1.

BTW,
I think these guys are from Texas... Texas club

Jason, I was talking about my cb750. You are correct the new GSXRs are fuel injected.

for that most of the new supersport bikes are FI. most if not all in the AMA supersport catagory are.

Daryl, I didnt know you had a bike [Smile]

Josh

PS it did snow today. Someone should tell those bastards up there to quit sending this shit our way [Razz]

I used to have a ZX6. For the whole four months a year of suitable riding weather, in Midland, I had a hard time justifying the $1000 / year insurance.

Chris and Chris: Ummm...thanks for your (dumbass) suggestions... [thumbsup] [Razz]

I'll pass! [Wink]

PS: Josh, quit yur bitchin'! You *KNOW* what YOU have to do!
