It is a cartoon Star Wars that they are showing on Cartoon NEtwork that is supposed to be the story between episode two and three. It only shows in 5 minute "micro" episodes each day. The animation really suck and I am surprised George lucas would allow this.

Yes, I've been watching these. In fact, this evening (Saturday) the Cartoon Network will rerun the entire 20-chapter series for anyone who's curious. It's kind of a goofy schedule. They'll run five chapters in a 30-minute block (including commercials) and then some other program for 30 minutes, followed by another 5 chapters of Clone Wars, etc.

I'm not a big fan of animation in general, so I can't really say whether this is good or bad animation. I thought the style of Clone Wars was a refreshing change from the look and feel of the Star Wars movie "prequels." Some of the action sequences are pretty spectacular, and I try to think of how the same scenes would look if they were staged for a "live action" movie.

But the biggest reason to enjoy the cartoon "micro-series" is how much the kids love it. There are a lot of kids around here and, when it comes to boys between the ages of 3 and 10, this series has hit its mark perfectly.

maybe thats George's goal...to get the under crowd into it...yeah they have the lego toys..but the said thing is I see more 35 year olds in K&B buying them than kids. I think it will do a lot for the next movie.

No. The only reason this last Star Wars movie will have a lot of hype is because people know it's going to be the last one. George is all dried up. If I don't get paid to screen a print the day before Episode 3 opens, I will honestly never make the effort to see it.

I'm not watching it. I can't imagine tuning in for a 5 minute program and, besides, I haven't been enjoying any of the new Star Wars stuff -- including the allegedly "special" editions of the original trilogy.

As for seeing Episode III, I will probably go and see it out of curiosity. Will George show the physical transformation from Anakin to Darth Vader? I'd also like to see how the first trilogy ends.

Well Joe, as my spokesperson I need to take you out back and smack you up a bit. How dare you tell people what is really going on out here!

Actually you are mostly correct. Utah has a per family child level of nearly 4, twice the level of the next highest state in regards to children per two person family. It is a real drain.

I myself will not bother with episode three. I was so dejected from the matrix sequels, and after the agony I went through watching the Clones Attack, or whatever that piece of garbage was, I have little hope if any that the third installment will be any good.

I just pop in the original and also empire and that does it for me. even return of the jedi was more entertaining than the last film.

The only thing that I look forward to in Episode three is seeing Anakin turn to the dark side. I am not anti prequel but I have not been able to sit through either of them after the first time.
