Hi everyone, Not been on for a while. Just thought I would ask, I am having to go to a place called Honeoye Falls just outside Rochester NY in a couple of weeks. It is a fleeting 3 day visit for the company I work for (Non film related). I was wondering if anyone knew of any good hotels near there?

I have had a quick look at the website (visitrochester.com) but unfortunately they don't give me much info (and if anyone has any personal recommendations then that would be better).

Don't know about hotels but a good pub in rochester is the old toad

Honeoye Falls is about 15 miles south of Rochester, along NY Route 65 (Clover Street). Hotels in Pittsford NY (Monroe Avenue and Clover Street) would be a convenient drive, and located near shopping and restaurants. Downtown Rochester is only about a 1/2 hour drive north of Honeoye Falls.

You'll see lots of restaurants, hotels and shopping as you drive from the ROC airport (Jefferson Road, Marketplace Mall, Rochester Institute of Technology).

Are you involved in fuel cell research? General Motors has a fuel cell research facility in Honeoye Falls:

Thanks guys, There is some good info there. Yup, I am heavily involved in fuel-cell research and I am off to GM. From the websites it looks a beautiful part of America. I have never been to the states before so I am really looking forward to it.

Mid May will see the Rochester Lilac festival and other festivities. The Erie Canal is open for canal cruises on the historic canal that helped open the West (featured in "How the West Was Won"), and later in May, the huge new "Fast Ferry" hydrofoil, the "Spirit of Ontario", begins daily 2-1/2 hour trips across Lake Ontario to Toronto, Canada:

Of course when in the finger lakes visit Penn Yan and the Lakestreet cinemas Lance has one of the nicest tripples out there
