I often find myself getting annoyed at the History Channel's Tactical to Practical because I'm sure that sometimes they are describing things that did indeed start in the private sector and then get militarized. It's not always the other way around as Hunter Ellis would have you believe. Anyone want to help collect some examples of this mistake? It wouldn't hurt the show any if they would admit that sometimes the reverse of their title is true.

Yeah Steve, I think they get backward as often as right. A lot of this type programming seems to written by people who don't know shit from Shinola about the subject.
