Hello all,
Even after I said I'm out of the theatre tech scene,Iended helping 2 people with their theatre sound junk,recently, ok, in the last two days I was at an old theatre that's being reopen,giving a help with the sound (nothing state of the art, just a "eewwww" processor amps, and new speakers, however, in this theatre,among the remainings of the old screen and it's suporting structures,lies,in very poor state one original RCA speaker and multicell (??) dual drive horn and two clones of suck speaker.the wood is definately shot, bugs ate about all of it however the drivers, LF and HF seemed fine with no holes or eaten parts.the models escaped my mind now, they're MI9<something>,I may still have the chance to get those LF/HF drivers, probably the multicell(??) horn but not the enclosures, they're about 6 1/2 ~7Ft tall,one, the original has 2 side panels, one on each side wich makes the enclosure looks wider than it really is.
What I'd like to know is, suposing those drivers are still in fair working condition, are they worth anything? (all have RCA plates attached on them)and what speaker enclosure htat may be? there is any chance that a blueprint-like drawing of those is available somewhere and a pair of them can be made or a smaller version that'd use those drivers? (drawings of such enclosures,pictures would help too as well as models and a few description of a few of those large speakers RCA made)

Just thought that I'd add the following:
after doing some search on the net,I found some information regarding some 40's era Altec speakers, from the few pictures I found, the RCA speakers I was talking about are like the Altec 30W5.I tried to find more pictures but nothing came out. pictures,drawings and all the other info about them is still wanted and welcome.thanks.
