Brad's going to kill me for this, how dare I add more work! [Smile]

Just noticing that some people's member pics are years and years old, you can't all still look like that!

Even mine needs to be updated again. [Roll Eyes] Lot's of changes since hairdressing school.

I still have a piracy themed pic. I'm waiting for Brad to put up the ShoWest themed member pics with little phrases like "Where's the Boardwalk hotel?"

My picture has been certified by Robert Harris as not in need of restoration (or updating).

Hairdressing school, LuAnn?

Is there some way how we can update the pics ourselves? It might help lighten Brad's work load.

I'm still trying to get that jerk Brad to post my latest ID pic:

I might change my profile picture soon.

How do I go about getting multiple pictures? Is there a certain status I have to attain in order to have that option?

Member pictures submitted between July 11 to this evening have not yet been updated. If you submitted before this date, somewhere along the line it got lost.

Is there something special we have to do to get a neato quote to replace the (in my case) "Expert Film Handler", or do we just request it in the e-mail in which we send the picture? Since my picture was originally swiped from my website without my particular input (or permission [Wink] ) I'm thinking I need a new, customized picture.

I mean, really, what does a fidgeting cat have to do with film? [Razz]

Posted by Brad Miller (Member # 2) on 07-26-2004, 06:01 AM:

For you, we'll come up with something extra special. Phil???

I don't recall swiping your picture from your website, but hey if you linked to it in your profile, fair game! It's hard enough getting people to send in pictures of themselves, so yeah I'll stoop to that level. [Wink] Still though, no way would I have picked a picture of you with your cat when there are so many on your website that are far more suitable. My guess is this was Phil's doing.

Posted by Jeremy Fuentes (Member # 2135) on 07-26-2004, 06:32 AM:

I want a special quote too!! [Mad] [Mad]

Posted by Brian Michael Weidemann (Member # 2243) on 07-26-2004, 07:13 AM:

Extra special? That doesn't sound promising. Oh, I get it, we don't get to pick our OWN quotes: they are inflicted upon us by those with power. Should I be scared? [Eek!]

Well, here is where I originally posted my website, and Rachel seems to be the one who commented about swiping a picture. It was just after that when I first saw myself holding Sagan the cat under my name.

Edit: Okay, with a quote like that, it would kind of seem inappropriate to change the picture, now wouldn't it? Thanks, Brad. [Razz]

It's okay Rachel. In fact, I thank you for taking the time to browse my website. [Big Grin] The more visitors the better!

(And for anyone who wishes to hike up my counter ... click away!)

Phil, I personally don't see the connection to you ... unless you have a history of obtaining cat molesting photographs, the knowledge of which is what Brad alluded to. Hey, I'm not judgin'! [Wink] Whatever works, as long as there isn't a law prohibiting it ... well, okay, perhaps the ASPCA might have some say in it.

But wait a minute ... it seems that I'M THE CAT MOLESTOR here. I hope the ASPCA recognizes the joke and I don't have men in coats or the police at my door. [Eek!]

Alright, I've gone through everything I have and posted a good sized chunk of new member pictures. If you sent one in and it isn't showing up, I lost it! Please send it again.

In the meantime, if you've recently sent in a pic, post it here for everyone to see how much better the forums are when EVERYONE has a picture. [Cool]

It was either the fedora pic or the on-ride photo of myself on Rock'n'Roller Coaster. After a week, I realized that the Rock'n'Roller Coaster pic may frighten others (including myself). Thus, I chose this one (the fedora).

It's better than your previous pic...although someone left the old quote that went with the last picture...it doesn't make sense with this new pic.

Brad -- fix the quote and then delete the above paragraph of this post!
