Elmer Bernstein the amazing prolific composer died in his sleep in California Wednesday, he was 82.

Here is a just a short list of some of his movies.
That's just a few of his Many works in film. [Frown]

Don't forget To Kill a Mockingbird, The Ten Commandments. He was definitely one of the greats.

So many great music scores from Elmer Bernstein. I'll miss him.

He also did Ghostbusters , which was a great score. This has been a bad year for composers passing. It's sad that in the same year we've lost Michael Kamen, Jerry Goldsmith, and now Bernstein. RIP to all of them.

If we're going to list all that brilliant music of Mr Bernstein's, we'll be writing from now till Christmas. He has done an enormous job for films.

I was saddened to hear this news on the radio. And only a few weeks after the passing of Jerry Goldsmith, too.

Oh, how I love "The Sons of Katie Elder". It's every Western score.

The score from "To Kill a Mockingbird" is one of the finest ever, IMHO. The ending sequence with narration and music still sends chills through an old f#%t like me. [thumbsup]
