I have a new 20" LCD monitor that I have set to it's optimal rez of 1600x1200. This is great and looks fantastic.
But, I'm having issue's with fonts on some websites being so small it's hard to read.
Some menu's in programs do not display properly. Words cut off, etc.
I have changed the windows DPI size, and changed a variety of font's and size's in "Appearance" settings, this has fixed the majority of the problems, except for the one's mentioned above.

Any tips anyone can offer in this regard?
Or is this something I must live with?

If using Internet Explorer go to 'View' and then 'Text Size.' A shortcut is to hold the 'control' key and move your mousewheel (if you have one) forward or backward for larger or smaller size text.

That trick also works with Mozilla Firefox, and i'm assuming netscape. If you don't have a mousewheel, just use control = to zoom in and ctrl - to zoom out.

Thanks, but I failed to mention I knew that trick. But there are websites this does not work on.
www.techbargains.com is one as well as several others.

The Ctrl+Scrollwheel trick worked on Tech Bargain's website on my machine. I don't know if Mozilla's Firefox web browser is a factor in that at all.

I just went to TechBargains with Firefox and everything worked ok. I increased and decreased the text size with no problem. Is the Geometry in your monitor set correctly? I don't know why programs and such would cut off like that.
